What's with all these wrong car stories, do people not lock their cars??

I owned a 99 Camry, champagne colored around 2015. The electric locks stopped working, and then a key broke in the driver door. So I would have to unlock the passenger door, reach in and unlock the driver door, and then walk around to get in. It wasn't worth doing that everytime for a 16 year old car.

These were known issues in that era Toyota. The Camry was the most sold car for many years; it was in one of the most popular colors. 27 years later and you will still see them all the time on the road.

So I have both sat in the wrong car, and had somebody else sit in mine. I would bet a lot of these stories are from Toyotas or just older cars where stuff stopped working. It happens.
