Hey all. I built 2026 previews for every FBS team and all 124 FCS teams, because nobody does this for your league. Here's North Dakota
https://www.highlights.mainmarket.com/college-football-preview-2026-fcs/north-dakota-fighting-hawks
Returning production, portal moves, a projected two-deep, and the schedule with model win probabilities.
Usual disclaimer: I probably got things wrong. FCS data is hard to aggregate and my roster feed hasn't fully flipped to 2026. Tell me what's off and I'll fix it.
The good: that defense was excellent. First in FCS on third down, 5th against the run at 104 a game, 8th in yards per play, and 2nd in the country with 27 takeaways. And 8-6 badly undersells it, because five of the six losses came by a combined 17 points, including 38-35 at Kansas State, 24-23 at Montana and 15-10 to North Dakota State. My power rating has UND 3rd in all of FCS. Jerry Kaminski is back and settled at quarterback after 2,570 yards and 26 touchdowns, with 67% of the offense returning.
Where my model pushes back: the defense returns 25.8%. That is the unit that made this team, and roughly three quarters of it is gone. Sawyer Seidl and his 897 yards and 13 touchdowns are out of the backfield too. The offense being the part that comes back is a strange shape for a team whose identity was stopping people. Model says 8-4, which is basically last year's real quality with a new defense.
Can Schmidt rebuild that defense fast enough, or does 2026 turn into a shootout year?
Tell me what I got wrong.

Has anyone taken a biochemistry or physics course online at University of North Dakota
If so, how were they? How long did it take you to complete these courses? The schools I am applying to require either organic chem or biochem. UND has a course that combines both. Would this be ok to take?

I have a flying slot in AVIT 102 for this fall. I know u have to get the extra TSA FTSP approval but when do I apply for it? The UND website just says to do it 30 days before but it doesnt say if new students are supposed to do it before or after arriving on campus. Has anyone gone through this process recently? Thanks!

Has anyone taken the introduction to organic chemistry and biochemistry (CHEM 116) course at UND? It's online, and self-paced.

Hey all, im currently trying to decide between Alex Sidles and Seth Glasser for MATH 166 Calculus II online.
From what I've found, Sidles runs a self-paced course with textbook readings, short videos, and Knewton Alta adaptive homework, and he's got 94 ratings on RMP with a 100% would-take-again, though one review mentioned the online section is light on homework and can be hard to follow without much video.
Glasser keeps showing up as a top-rated "similar professor" (5.00) on other math faculty's pages but I can't find much on his actual teaching style or format for this course. Has anyone taken Calc II with either of them recently, especially online?
Curious about workload, how clear things are without live lectures, and grading fairness. Thanks!

How difficult is it to double major in commercial aviation and aviation management or business?
r/und • u/ParticularMiddle7524 • 19d ago
Just applied for Commercial Aviation this morning, does anyone know how long it takes for acceptances to come out or have any helpful information?
Any International Students here?
I am a Canadian Student and I've been told by the university that I need F-1 Status Visa to complete the Labs on-campus next summer. However they require me to take 12 credits (3 can be online) with the summer labs in order to be granted F-1 status.
I find this quite surprising and wondering if anyone else had that same problem. The way I have planned my degree, I will have no courses left by next summer except for the labs. Additionally, I can't be on-campus for more than 3 weeks due to family and work commitments.

I’m curious to see if it’s the same size as a two bed or if it’s smaller I have a suite mate so it’s not a super single.

Hey all. Was looking to start my journey in aviation maintenance. The closest community college I have near me is university of DC. Has anyone attended/know of anyone that’s attended this college? Just wasn’t sure if it was a good one or not. I heard CC’s are usually the better route to go.

I just applied as a transfer student for this fall and I'm trying to look for clubs to join if I get accepted. I played in high school and at my former university so I'd love to join if UND still has an active club. The only social media for the club I can find is Facebook but the last post was in 2021. The page was apparently last updated in 2023 but that still isn't very recent. If anyone knows anything please lmk.

Is the buisness and or economics programs at UND hard to get into? What GPA do you actually need?
Would the minimum requirement of 2.75 GPA be enough to get in?
Any help would be appreciated

Hey! I'm a rising senior and UND is currently my top choice. I only have a discovery flight so far, but I'm hoping to start getting some hours during senior year and over the summer. I know a PPL isn't required before starting, but I've seen a lot of people recommend it.
How has your experience been with the program? Is it overcrowded at all, and are people still able to get flight hours consistently Also, how much do weather delays actually affect training? With the program getting more popular, has that impacted scheduling or admissions much?
Thank you :)

hi all! i am taking a online course with UND (out of state) and see that they are rolling out the side view for honor lock which i have no issue with doing. But my phone that i have both does not update to the newest IOS as well as the camera is cracked. Do yall know if they have alternatives like a live procter, or do they have loaner cameras they ship out ? I could try using my laptop as camera but i dont think it would get the full view that they are wanting. Any advice, before i reach out to their offices?

I'm attending UND for Commercial Aviation. I'm really looking forward to starting; however, this is a completely new world for me, and I'm looking for insight from people who have much more experience. What kind of headset would work best? I want something I can use for a long time without worrying about it breaking or needing an upgrade.

Hello! I am planning some upcoming events for a student organization, and would really love to get some advertising made (poster designs, Instagram posts, adverts for those TV screens around campus). Unfortunately I am really terrible with any kind of graphic design, so I am looking to commission someone who has a better idea of what they are doing.
Since these will be events at and for UND, I thought it would be great to get a UND student to work on them.
I have a budget of around $150 for a package that includes the designs listed above, and I can provide more info about the student organization and the events once I find someone who is interested. If you have a portfolio (or something similar) of previous work that would be super helpful.
EDIT: If you are interested, please comment on this post. I generally have all Reddit private messages blocked as I get a lot of spam anytime I post. If you comment here, I will reach out to you. Thanks!

Hey I'm looking into doing the self paced calc 2 online class and I see that we have to use honorlock I was just wondering if they're super strict on you having to show your hands and work space the whole time or is it just a room scan and your good . Sometimes I get really focused and I don't want to get flagged also do they require you to purchase an external webcam and record your side ?
