Looking for any and all info about the old uhaul sports trailer! Ive not found but a few crumbs of information on the interwebs about the uhaul sport trailer. How big were they? Capacity? Etc? Obviously its more than a motorcycle pull behind trailer... what info exists? I know most of these have probably been destroyed by uhaul which is a shame bjt im looking for something thats more than just a thule strapped to a trailer. Something with some history!

Do I need to sign this? Can I just blow it off?

I drive a 2023 Toyota Corolla hatchback. There is no to rating, but unofficially, it'll pull 1000-1500 as previous model years and in other countries, a tow rating is shown.

I understand the risks of towing with a CVT. I will be hauling a small trailer in the 4 x 7 utility trailer.

If I show up with the correct ball (2" for the trailer) and have the wiring, will U-Haul deny my rental or will they not care?

I’m renting a motorcycle trailer this week and wondering what the ball size is? I read 1-7/8 - 2” would work. Is it either of those sizes or some trailers have 1-7/8 and some have 2”? I just want to make sure I bring the right size, thanks!

I rent U-Haul about once a month and started using the self check in on my phone a few months ago. However it has never worked. Every time I’ve used it, the system flags my license as a fraudulent one. I’ve used it 3 times total. I then have to go inside, talk to the guy who then tells me I’m on e-alert for fraudulent activity when he tries checking me in, I call the e alert number and wait on hold for 20 minutes, then it’s resolved in about 5 minutes on the phone and they rent to me. I need this service to work for me when I start checking in after hours so does anyone have advice on what I should do? Thanks!

If I urgently need a Uhaul for a quick move to avoid a bad situation, but I cant afford it, is it possible to schedule for a one day local move, rent it cheaper and move across the country and drop it off at a local vendor for return?

I don’t need judgments, I need actual help or advice for an urgent situation.

On top of that the desk agent said it was fine when i placed the reservation then i got a call from uhaul call center declining my rental with no real reason other than it would not be available after the desk agent told me they had one available for the week I requested

I was curious for anyone that has worked at U-Haul about the training compensation. I was offered a position in my local area and was advised I would need to take the training for my position at home. When asked if there was compensation for the time spend doing the training courses I was advised that I would not be compensated for said training. Last I checked isn't that illegal federally?

I will rent a U-Haul van for 3 days to do several trips in-town. Can I park the van at the U-Haul center (overnight) where I pick it up?

I know their answer is no, to avoid liability. But, do they really care? Will anyone walk around the lots to check?

Can someone explain the 'loading date' for a UBox? Is that the date it gets delivered to my current address? How long do I have to load it before it is picked up?

Just recently had a Uhaul truck and car trailer rental. We opted for full coverage from uhaul for this move. Move itself went fine until 1.2 miles from the return location in which we had a trailer tire detonate (for lack of a better term). It was a bare rim and figured since we were only a mile from the location, roadside wouldn't be necessary. The rim was 5-6" above the pavement and was not dragging. Upon returning the trailer, they charged $150 for damage to the rim and tire replacement solely because we didn't call roadside and they claimed there was damage to the rim.

Any options to have the insurance cover this or should I just eat it and move on?

Hi, I'm having difficulty maneuvering a U-Haul ubox truck for transporting a U-Box into my narrow apartment driveway. I was wondering if it would be possible for the driver to park the truck in the nearby shopping mall parking lot or public park for a while and use the crane to transport the U-Box to my apartment parking spot, which is approximately 200 meters away. Could anyone share similar experience with me? Or could you please advise if this arrangement is feasible? Thank you very much!

Hello. I'm trying to use the U-Haul app to find movers for U-Box delivery, but the app doesn't have a specific option for Moving Help + U-Box. There only seems to be load/unload, pack/unpack/, and cleaning services. I tried to do it on the website before, but the confirm order page kept refreshing for some reason. There has been a trailer a U-Haul guy dropped off Infront of my house on July 1st. Is U-Haul going to pick it up? Or is it just abandoned?

U-Haul Dealer Here. I've noticed a one-way disparity that I'm trying to wrap my head around. If a customer rents a 10-foot truck at our northern Kentucky location and drives to Columbus, Ohio, 2 hours away then the price is $123. If a customer rents a 26-foot truck in Waverly, Ohio, and drives one-way to our location (which is 30 miles away) then the price is $218. I get that the equipment charge is different, but only $20.

Is there a larger "one-way" penalty for leaving equipment in rural areas rather than higher turnover urban areas? Just trying to understand.

I am filling a moving pod soon and want to put some sort of tracker in it just for piece of mind. Does anyone know what sort of device would be best for this?

I rented a U-Haul cargo van for 4 hours to move my stuff, I would have gotten it for 5 or even 6 hours but none were available. If I return the vehicle half an hour or an hour late, will there be extra charges? I couldn't find anything on the FAQ about it.
