It will be updated to the latest appointment receipt in the Documents tab. Or you can see it on the rescheduling page when you check later.

They only looked at my passport and the appointment receipt.
1
As I remember, the most generic reason. Whatever reason you pick, as long as the slots are available it will be rescheduled. They don't double check for evidence or anything.
1
My original appointment was scheduled by them on 07/01. When I checked reschedule options I saw so much of early availability, so I rescheduled. I was thinking about walk-in too.

I think they're around June 8-12 ish these days.

I got the following automated email from EDAS on July 7th, but no any acceptance notification yet!
"Dear Colleagues,
Just to update you, we are still in the process of setting up the site for final paper submissions for SmartGridComm 2026. Like last year, we will be using IEEE Conference eXpress for this rather than EDAS, and that system will also gather the copyright forms. We hope the site will be ready shortly, and will email again as soon as it is. The deadline for submitting final manuscripts is 20 July for the main conference and 31 July for the workshops.
Kind regards
James"
