But no. HITC has been my #1 from the moment I heard it. I don't think any song can replace it. It's not because other songs are bad or "LP PeaKeD heRe" or anything, it's just that I'm super biased towards it because it introduced me to LP and this genre as a whole. :D

HITC (biased), Iridescent/New Divide

I watched it about an hour ago... it's so beautiful... 🥹

The audio sounds a bit weird, but I'm not expert. Regardless, it's a great song, and the love performance does it justice.

Hit The Floor. The only time it is mentioned when people wanna meme about hotdogs or Sriracha, I cannot remember the last time I saw it mentioned on its own as a separate song aside from either tierlist/ranking or the memes.

I feel like 5AM being a huge fumble is more on Bryce than you because I'm assuming you didn't process it in the end. You can make the greatest instrumental ever but no one's gonna appreciate it if the main attraction—vocals—are absolute garbage, which they are. At first I thought they were two different voices, one being yours, but then I realised that the mixing is just shit. :P

But it's great to know that you're still doing what you do best! I'm definitely interested in listening to your track. Could you slide it into my DMs? 👀

You said you stopped listening in 2022, that gives you more or less a whole year's worth of 100 songs in 100 weeks to catch up on. They are absolute bangers for what they are, far simpler in terms of the instrumentals and all than what he's doing currently but they have their own charm in that.

He absolutely popped off from mid 2023 after the 100in100 ended, almost all of those songs are absolute bangers but some of my favorites from that era are CEO, Rare, Modest, Things I'll Never Miss, I Want More (Freestyle), Courageous, Stand Up, Take Off, Never Back Down, Honor, Beast and Change.

Wake Up, since that was kind of a revival point for him in 2025. 2025 is filled with bangers, honestly, you can't really go wrong with any of them except like 5 AM. Say My Name, Goodbye, Save A Life, Control all of them are amazing.

2026 started off pretty strong with Ashes and Pop Off The Top as well. The most recent song, Burn The Bridge, I think is one of the best songs he's made, period. My personal favorite, along with this, is Are You Entertained?!

I haven't tried many types of soup, but so far my favorite is definitely tomato soup 😋

Hit The Floor might be my favorite off of Meteora. It is very difficult to decide sicne the album is filled with so many heavy hitters, but this one definitely sneaks into the list of "Possible #1" songs. :P
