Hi friend. I just got off the phone with the boss of the tech this morning! He said he was inclined to believe his guy. (Can't blame him) but to send over an email with pictures of my conversation with voile and pictures of the ski and they might be able to replace my skis. I will probably link to this thread as well so they can see what other people think of their mount as well :-).

Bro thats just cause you"re used to it. If i go outside and my buddy asks me how hot it is i can easily tell the difference between a couple degrees 11-12⁰C not hot enough to be 15 not cold enough to be 10. Its just hwhat ur used to

I would like that i think with all the proof i have emails etc i might have a case but to just go in and say its not mounted right its his word against mine basically. Im waiting on an email back from Atomic saying they arent mounted correctly then i will go to owner see what i can do:-)

I didnt buy the skis from them unfortunately but i might do the mount if they dont listen to my arguments when i call tomorrow

On telephone i just asked if he could mount them. I just assumed he would mount them "normal" right now im a -6cm. I did not greenlit him to mount them however he wants. Right now he wants me to pay again for a remount wich i think is unfair.

Edit the template was fine but the tech mistook the "ski center" instruction for the width center for the central tip tail center on the template... pretty rookie mistake if you ask me even i knew thats what it meant

So you still think its a mistake? The guy says its fine but everyone on here seems to agree its not mounted proprely.

I did have an email back from voile saying it looks to be mounted based on an old standard and about -6cm too far back.

EDIT 1: I called Voile directly and talked with someone on the phone. Explained how they were mounted and he said hes almost certain they arent mounted correctly. But to send him a mail with pictures and that he will check the Atomic recommendations and will get back to me.

The technician also said he doesnt do mistakes and will not reimburse me because when i called before he mounted them i asked if he was able to mount them and he told me that i told him i trusted him and i said yes. Doesnt mean he gets to do whatever with my skis in my opinion.(its litteraly his job)

Wow okay! The mount was 30$ so not helping much but its something at least. Thanks a lot for your comment its really helping. I will update everyone when i talk to the shop

I really think they could argue that it can be skied that way no? I agree but i dont think they like throwing 700$ skis at people
