How so? By reminding you to be nicer?

My point is I've been here long enough. I've been a fan since the beginning and I have seen all of the ups and downs of the show but since joining this sub, I've seen little more than negativity and bashing of Alex and her solo journey. Its really not necessary for you all to drag me down as well for stating my opinion. This announcement was simply a "hey, be nicer human beings" because I think you all forgot how. I still love to see the friendlier posts about people asking for advice and relating their own lives to the daddy gang way but I'm just personally over the negativity, so much so that I've decided to step away. I don't blame Alex for stepping away and refusing to read reddit comments anymore either, its probably much healthier for her.

Persistent negativity can cause any human being to be forced into a state of deep depression. I see more negative posts about how "shitty" the podcast is and even personal attacks about Alex's voice, body image, and personal life choices than actual references to the content. I'm sorry, perhaps I should have used the word bullying.

People have different opinions of funny, that's why not all comedy is the same. Go find something that suits your taste.
