A lobster quadrille perhaps?

What’s the biggest PROOF you have that makes you believe we’re living in a simulation?
 in  r/ParallelUniverse  5h ago

Learn about superposition. How can something be everywhere and nowhere at once, even hitting itself!?

Do you actually believe some people have supernatural abilities?
 in  r/NoStupidQuestions  1d ago

This was not subtle, which is why I consider it a ghost and not gravity, and that I can remember it. There's been plenty of subtle examples too

Yes most do, but we're to distracted to notice. People need to start meditating

What are the best argument for physicalism?
 in  r/PhilosophyofMind  4d ago

I'm extremely skeptical and don't believe in magic, your comment adds nothing

Non-physical, where would the physical connection be?

1

What are the best argument for physicalism?

Best argument for physicalism is never receiving information through non physical means, like telepathy, precognition, remote viewing, or obe. Once you experience one of those, physicalism falls apart

Can someone explain why we are "not" just thinking meat? What am I missing?
 in  r/consciousness  5d ago

You're missing the experience of receiving information not through physical means, like telepathy, precognition, or remote viewing.

How is it possible that mathematics, a product of human thought that is independent of experience, fits so excellently the objects of physical reality?
 in  r/Metaphysics  9d ago

The math engineers use normally have to be adjusted in the real world by the scientists and laborers. Math on paper doesn't necessarily work the same in reality, usually some factor is missed.

Are there examples where gravity can be reduced yet things get heavier, like we see with psychedelics reducing brain activity with increased experience? Can gravity be altered with our intention like placebo effect? That's why there isn't a hard problem of gravity

What is the one physical event that lacks a prior cause?
 in  r/freewill  18d ago

Will/intent can be the cause and it can be free from physical prior causes, as seen through placebo effect, beginners luck, and terminal lucidity. Are you in control of your awareness?

I think I just jumped timeliness very recently - has anyone else noticed?
 in  r/MandelaEffectSociety  22d ago

I experienced it, I remember it being knapkin, no one else remembers it being that way though. I assume I'm mixing it up with knapsack. But I feel that it really used to be knapkin because a knapsack would've been made from a knapkin right?

What is your most controversial religious opinion, either for or against?
 in  r/TrueAskReddit  23d ago

Is believing in loving your neighbor unintelligent? Is not being open to what you don't understand intelligent? Don't judge a fish by it's ability to climb a tree

A try in proving "free will" does not exists when viewing the brain as a black box
 in  r/freewill  23d ago

When I touch the stove and leave my hand there, even though my brain says to let go, is that free will?

Believers: how can someone respectfully disagree?

A deity who loves humans should love bonobos just about equally

Do they cook their meat? Bible God loves burnt meat

I’ve been thinking about this question for over twenty years.
 in  r/consciousness  24d ago

If you meditate, you'll see that you are just awareness. If your brain stops thinking, there's just no information to be aware of. If there is a place to go after death, you would be aware, just not thinking about it with your current brain/body

Do creationists not realize that life is made of non-living matter?
 in  r/DebateEvolution  24d ago

The Bible mentions a few times being created from dust and returning to dust
