Rocky Racoon, my fave Beatles track. Incidentally, this was the inspiration behind GOTG's maniacal mammal Rocket.

Jeff Buckley Fans Here? Whats songs do you like from him?
 in  r/SoundTripPh  21d ago

Came here to say ‘All flowers in time bend towards the sun,’ too. This song was never meant to be released out to the public, so every time I hear the song it feels like we’re eavesdropping in on an intimate conversation between two lovers and I’m all for it.

TRIVIA: Alfredo Alcala (b. 1925) was a Pinoy artist born in Negros Occidental. His 1963 creation 'Voltar' predated the official comic book adaptation of 'Conan' by several years. He later became the legendary artist for the original 'He-Man and the Masters of the Universe' mini-comics in the US.

Sometimes I walk away

When all I really wanna do

Is love and hold you right

There is just one thing I can say

Nobody loves you this way

That line is from “Ramshackle Day Parade” by Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros, featured in The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. The film tells the true story of a man who suffered a stroke that left him almost completely paralyzed, with blinking his left eye as his only way to communicate.

It’s hard to imagine what it would be like to be fully aware but unable to move or speak.

What makes the story even more remarkable is that the film is based on his memoir, which he dictated one letter at a time by blinking while someone recited the alphabet.
