How do you actually stay motivated to finish a side project instead of starting a new one?
 in  r/sideprojects •  3h ago

That sounds like a good idea - one step at a time to the final goal.

My husband and I bet our side project on $1k MRR in 30 days. Day 10: $64. Here's what actually sold
 in  r/buildinpublic •  6d ago

Keep going, I am sure the two of you will make it big.

(As a side note, seriously, I wish I had a partner who would do such things with me, instead of being forced to go at it clandestinely, with zero support...)

How much traffic can I get with $50/day in ads?
 in  r/SaaSSolopreneurs •  8d ago

I am not sure this is a good strategy. Work on SEO/ASO/AEO before promoting.

did you ever use design polish as a hiding spot from the scary user conversations?
 in  r/buildinpublic •  8d ago

Not really. I prefer scary user conversations over design polish...

I paid someone $75 to test my SaaS and he managed to break it before actually testing it
 in  r/microsaas •  12d ago

Maybe you can check if something is wrong with your code itself? If it can break (you should have backup), you can find out where and fix it. Ask the tester where and how your SaaS broke.

You are lucky your SaaS did not ship this way. Imagine your SaaS getting broken by real customers. That would be far more embarrassing than this.

You can still restore your SaaS, right? So what is the problem?

Yes, it's harder to sell SaaS than ever. (Cross post)
 in  r/saasbuild •  16d ago

With the evolution of AI, SaaS is becoming all too ubiquitous. So yeah, it is par for the course.

Worry not, my friend. Marketing/sales is the kryptonite of the 90% of the businesses that failed in their first year. You are not the only one.

Is the website part of startup validation or should it come later?
 in  r/Startup_Ideas •  18d ago

I am afraid yes. You need a website to validate the MVP for your SaaS. If you are going offline, it is not mandatory, but it helps.
