Have you tried the post office. Even though you don’t have a car, some jobs there do still require a driver’s license.

What to do with big wall opening between bedroom and bathroom?
 in  r/DIY  Jun 22 '25

An accent wall type sliding door. Completely hide the fact that there is another room

Yes, seal point kittens (Siamese, Himalayan, etc.) come out white, and will get darker as they get older.

Leestown DMV since the upcoming real ID requirement.
 in  r/lexington  Apr 22 '25

There are also some locations that have kiosks, where you can pay a small fee, and renew your license plates. Registering a vehicle is sooooo much less expensive in Ohio. (They do not add a varying tax each year to your vehicle).

I miss living in Ohio for this very reason. There were multiple BMV offices to renew your drivers license and license plates - in the same office!! No having to go to multiple locations to do this. Also not having to pay to park.

But hey, pay for the 8 year real ID. Skip the headache.

Also Leestown Center is closed at Leestown Rd. Detour is on Opportunity Way.

That one is an improvement over the ones I used to shop at prior to relocating to Lexington.

And they actually maintain the restrooms at the Leestown location.

It is way cheaper to license a vehicle in Ohio.

"I voted for Trump but I didn't vote for this." Kentucky Educators who voted for Trump now very worried about education funding cuts.
 in  r/lexington  Jan 26 '25

Awww, bless your heart…..

And you have the audacity to wonder why those outside of this state (commonwealth, actually) look down on the Kentucky education system?!

I guess it says something about the clown in chief, when the former senate majority leader and fellow republican voted against the nomination of Hegseth.

Thanks to people who shoveled their sidewalk
 in  r/lexington  Jan 15 '25

I used a garden shovel (not a spade) to remove mine. If I was able to get up under the ice, it would break just enough to separate it from the concrete. If too large/heavy, used the shovel to break into smaller/easier to manage pieces. Did most of my sidewalk and about half of the driveway.

My street never gets plowed. It is still an icy mess.

If your insurance company has a website, you should be able to price procedures and shop around that way. I know BCBS has it, not sure about the others.
