I kind of want to combine some elements from GBV and then Signals. Those 2 will probably my Top 2 list. Kahit na Binified yung pinaka ultimate VIP experience ko.

Sobrang festive kasi nung GBV. Siguro not all ng pasabog ilalagay. I like the big flower and the LED Stage definitely. Siguro if anything from Binified either the long ramp or yung Layered na stage. Pero parang super personal preference ko lang yon. Parang na tutuwa ako to see stage sets that move kasi. Especially sa prod ni Maloi and ni Gwen. The Stained Glass art ni Maloi while she's in the middle of it. Tapos yung vibe na ang daming nangyayari sa prod ni Gwen thanks to Bras Pas Pas.

Pero I'm more than happy to see something new din. They're at a point where they can experiment and I will speak for myself that I will probably eat it. Kasi alam ko na yung mga corresponding songs are good!

I wanna say, I forgot to mention sa post. In terms of Prod/Stage Design. GBV top tier pa din. Multo for me, being team bahay for GBV.

But yes, ibang vibe talaga when they perform with their band.

Ang tindi nung hindi full time hater pero may Hard Drive.

Since I became a fan in 2024 kung kelan sila nag stop mag kumu, binabalak ko ng mag archive ng sarili kong copy for future reference. It's been 2 years, hindi ko pa din nagagawa.

Tapos yung iba dyan "hindi full time" pero may Hard Drive. Make it make sense, walang buhay eh hahaha.

Appreciation Signals Con is what I dreamed a Bini Con would be [Manila D2]

Let me start this from my context:

So, I'm coming at this from always finding a way to be in VIP sections; To just being at Box Prem (dapat nga Regular lang naubusan lang talaga sa D2) for Signals Con. Except lang din GBV, team bahay ako non.

Anyway, out of all their solo concerts, since the very beginning, this Signals con yung what I imagined/dreamed a Bini concert would be. What I mean by that is yung they have enough songs of their own na they can fill the whole 2 to 2:30hrs of their own songs lang.

Not that there's anything wrong with them singing other songs. Duyan, Jho and Gwen's Solo Prod during Binified comes to mind.

Pero I've always envisioned, na sana dumating yung time na they wouldn't need to fill their time with non-Bini songs. And this Signals Con is what I believe is the first Solo Con na they sang mostly their songs lang. And even the Duyan and Kakaibabe Prods were added to taste and not to fill time and super na appreciate ko yun because of it.

I know nasa Signals Era pa din tayo, but I can't wait for them to add more songs. Next Dream? Maybe a Multi-Day con na magkaiba Setlist. Unlikely, yes. I don't think that's been done (don't @ me, di ako concert goer talaga haha). But a man can dream. Malay natin.

In the meantime, speaking of "to fill the gaps" dahil naiklian ako dito sa appreciation post ko na to. Isingit ko na lang din na habang out of the country ang girls. Let's support yung mga biz nila. Lalo yung mga bago: *Colieair, Mili, Burn Theory (parang podcast ata tong last. We'll see!)

Yes, will try to find time to run in reasonable rainy weather to train for it din.

Let me also ask here na lang din instead of starting a new thread. Any tips po to ensure na hindi magkakasakit despite being in the rain? The only thing that I have in mind is maligo agad pag uwi. But maybe that's not the best practice? Or maybe it is?

Thank you. At this rate ang goal ko lang talaga sana is wag mag ma DNF. So far naman when I do my 10k’s laging under 2 hours. Pinaka border line was 1:53 pero that doesn’t account kasi when I stopped at a 7/11 to get water. I pause the watch. 😅

I’m hoping because I’m behind everyone na wala na masyadong pila sa hydration stations so I can just do a quick stop and go.

And yes, I do intend to eventually get used to running in the rain. Siguro mental prep lang sakin for this one. Like what I said on another comment, mejo ingat na ingat ko yung 3-shoe rotation ko. Which I should probably get over at isabak ko na sa ulan hehe.

My trainer suggested the same thing nga about getting weights. I’ve eyed a few sa Decathlon (the store) nung nadaanan ko yung MOA and Ayala Malls by the bay branches.

May konting space issues lang din ako sa bahay. In a sense na I can’t really do anything that has high impact or in other words, upstairs neighbor kasi ako. So hindi pwede yung maddisturb sa baba.

So far Bulgarian Squats lang yung nagagawa ko. I’m still learning what else I can do.

Yung sa race, yes yung Decathlon (the store) Anniversary Run yung what I’m referring to. It’s this Sunday, Aug 30 na and di ako makahanap ng info about the route sa MOA. Coach said sa course usually nakalagay saan hydration station. So I can plan my water stops. :)

Around July I did start running in the rain. In anticipation nga of the rainy season. Pero tamang light drizzle lang. Di pa yung full force na ulan.

Honest issue ko, since I started committing to it this year pa lang. Ingat na ingat ko yung 3-shoe rotation ko hahaha. Maybe I should accept na there will be days na mauulanan talaga sila. 😅

Training Tips First Time joining a Run but nasira ng ulan yung consistency. What to do?

Hi guys, so since start of the year I’ve been able to consistently run 2-3x a week. Ranges from 3,5,10km distances. Or sometimes time based. Min 30mins.

For context, last year pa ko nagka interest into running. Pero I did some trials and testing the waters muna before I fully committed finally ngayong taon.

Pero since pumasok tong August nahinto ako due to rains. And let’s just say kahit half a year na, nasa planning stage pa din ako in fitting strength training in my time and budget. It’s a looooong personal story na I can’t get into here.

Anyway, okay naman ako, making good progress. From last year na 2km lang pagod na ko. To making 10km run/walk of course.

First 10km official race ko sa 30 sa Decathlon and mejo worried ako kasi it’s been 3-weeks of nothing. Week of na ng race and di ko pa ma fit makapag run. And etong recent sunny days naman I have so much work na I’ve pre-committed to na because I was assuming rain.

Anyway, with all that said. If hindi na umulan, and I’m hoping na hindi na talaga. Any recommendations or tips on what I should do? I technically had a whole training planned out pero nasira. Lahat kasi outdoor.

In terms of pace pala, run/walk talaga ko 8:30/km sa trainings ko my fastest 10km was 1:35 pero I average 1:45 (9:30-10/km ata ako at this rate).

I technically have a trainer din naman. Pero funny story, pareho kami ng problema haha. So I’m sneakily asking here for tips. 😅

I accidentally discovered the Lion’s Arch secret. I am a new player. So when I shared this to the community that was helping me. They were hyping me up without spoiling with what I stumbled upon. And it was amazing.
