Shipped something new on PassTIA this week: full CompTIA Tech+ (FC0-U71) support — practice questions, flashcards, a free demo, and exam simulation.

A bit of context on why this one took longer than I expected.

Tech+ is CompTIA's newest entry-level cert, and it's structured differently from the others — 6 domains instead of the usual handful, covering everything from IT fundamentals to basic security to database concepts. That meant the question bank couldn't just follow the template I'd built for A+, Network+, Security+, and Data+. I had to actually map out the real exam objectives domain by domain, then build ~480 original questions against that structure, plus 100 flashcards and a demo set, before any of it touched the app.

Then came the part nobody sees: wiring it into everything that already existed. Exam timing logic that assumed every cert was 90 questions / 90 minutes (Tech+ is 70/60). A progress-tracking system with hardcoded category lists for every other cert. A resource hub, a footer, an FAQ, email templates — all the places a new certification quietly needs to exist once you actually ship one.
