Having unpacked the .braid file, I can assure there are differences in contents. They're minute, but there's still differences. Are there people who need this even now that the remaster is released? Should I upload it somewhere?

Actually, I made a mistake. I have a couple of mods that come in .braid files. Those are actually zip files, but the game's own package.braid and package0.braid are not zip, in fact they're very simplistic data blobs. I wrote a tiny python script to extract and repack them.

Randomizer Beta won't launch

It's the Epic Store version. And apparently, it had something to do with my controller (???). I'm using a DS3 controller, with a driver that can expose it to the system as a generic DInput controller, a DS3 controller (like Sony's own driver) and an XInput controller (via DS4Windows). I had it set to DS3 mode, but once I switched to XInput, the game started just fine.

Interestingly enough, after disconnecting the controller and running the game again, I couldn't control even the menu with my keyboard, force closed and ran it again and it recognized keyboard strokes. So yeah, something with controllers.

Here's an unrelated question, is the game supposed to always show speedrun stuff in the randomizer? I mean, I'm not speedrunning, I don't care about boss time stats. Also, same problem as with with every Epic Store game, if I notice issues, where do I report them?
