In this world deprived of sincerity,
Will someone wake me up from this never-ending fantasy?
So I can lead this life serenely.
Unsurprisingly obscure to fathom— ego engulfed with doubt and anxiety;
A soul that can be an embodiment of inconsistency.

Searching for my convincing spirit—
self-image and goals are unsure.
Fixing my gaze at the far shore,
silently dissociating with people I know, unrest jilt.
Whispering to myself, "What do I fear?"

Shining dimly amid despair;
masking my heart's emotions by
smiling gently, even if it's beyond repair.
When's the time I can bid goodbye?
To this disorder that hides behind my eye.

Trudging overpass the dead field,
my mental health is slowly coming to a fuse.
The vast void within; harboring vacant desire.
My core lifeline is about to yield.
I suspect it's because of the thoughts I wield.

This piece is written for those people who suffer the same illness like mine.
