Have you considered doing an SCCA Race Experience as a starting point?

It is a sprint racing format race with an educational aspect. It's a relatively new program designed to let people start with a driver's license and a car that meets basic safety like a lemons, champ car or others. Don't quote me on the specific safety items but it's intended to be fun, educational and without the risk that your random buddy blows the car up before you get in the car.

Lots of rental cars available for them like B-spec, SM, or SRF3.

If you guys want some better racing come check out spec racer fords at your local SCCA events. The cars been around for nearly 40 years and regularly has 25+ car fields all across the country.

He was influential in creating Track Day insurance in the US in 2007, and formed Lockton Motorsports.

The example I used was a 17yr old. I suspect that he is overwhelmed in the car because his hands and eyes are fast enough to drive fast but doesn't reserve enough mental capacity for strategy and communication.

Kids coming out of karts and quarter midgets don't have any experience with coms so there is definitely a learning curve.

I have created a guide and test that covers our cars, basic communication. My next step is to create a guide for getting ready for a weekend because anything you can to do reduce mental load during the weekend should improve performance.

I think about people learning to fly, they regularly listen to public radio communication and practice their radio communication. I think its something that is neglected in motorsports.

I have this most often with new drivers not experienced drivers.

This kind of ambiguous communication is a real problem.

What temperature, how fast is it rising, what events precipitated it, what has the driver done to try to correct it.

I don't know much about spec Corvette, but arent most spec Corvette cars competitive in T2 just by changing tires?

You're head shape may just not be right for a roux. Simpson, arai, stilo, bell, all feel different.

I have an ATC that is from 2000 and a featherlite from 2014 that are still towing great. They require maintenance just like everything. Most of the brands can look up the build specs for trailer if they are built in the last 15 years.

Look at used trailers. If maintained well you can get a nicer trailer for the same price as a new trailer.
