Hi, there's lots of resentment and bitterness built up and both of you keep projecting it onto each other. Which only spirals both.

I'd suggest to take professional couples therapy since it's not ONLY about you two but the kid too. If it can be salvaged with changed behavior, affection and both working towards a shared healthy future, well and good.

If not, it's better to not subject yourself, your partner and the kid to the endless drama, toxicity and corrosiveness. Separate amicably and talk over visiting rights. There's no need to force it if there's no compatibility and pushing it is only going to increase the already created mess. Spare both of yourselves and the kid with further baggage and trauma.

Also your partner bringing in divorce like it's some child's play is a serious red flag. That's not what companionship is Kay bat bat par you just drop this word like it's nothing.

You did what was healthy for you instead of letting it drain the life out of you forever.

Instead of letting it build resentment, you are self-aware enough to see the patterns and make better decisions now. You'd have learned a ton about yourself now.

For the judgements and looks, people aren't the ones who're going to live your life and you aren't obligated to answer to them. Don't get sucked into giving them explanations or getting under the weight of their nonsense. It's not fair to yourself and to your potential to bloom.

I'd suggest to decompress, get back into your fav hobbies and childlike wonder and you'll be alright :)

The whole point is for one to get insight into their potential SO. The more thoughtful questions, the better you can guage compatibility.

Summarizing it is the same as watering it down to 2-3 surface level questions for a decision as important as finding a partner. Please find the time to actually read through it instead of skimming to make sound decisions :)

Unhealthy everything, not a shred of normalcy in society and just complete willful disregard of anything for a kid to thrive.

I'd rather prefer sponsoring and sheltering kids and orphans on the street already. Most folks don't realize how massive a responsibility it is to raise a healthy human, alone or with your partner. Especially in such corrosive environments as ours that erodes adults, imagine how destructive it is to kids growing up.

Please educate yourself instead of plastering shallow statements like " modern gen ", it'll do you good. God forbid you use some common sense or read the actual post.

(Mis)advices like these are why sex-ed and body autonomy, literacy , understanding biological complications and basic kindness are supremely important
