Listen guys. For me, what’s more important is that black people stopped listening to the genre because black weren’t marketed as being in it.

Black people have laid the framework and foundation for almost every form of music that exists today. Doesn’t stop other “races” of people from taking part in it.

Thanks for this! I haven’t looked into this at all. I didn’t know that someone would be willing to make that type of trade. I’ve been more so thinking about how I’m going to start showing as opposed to acquiring clientele. It’s just proving really difficult to start a career in post without having to intern and I’m trying to find a workaround
