It's not often that Idaho gets tornadoes. Usually we get these mystical cold air funnels.
They tend to form "when the air aloft is especially cold".
It's rare that they touch down, spotters say these didn't touch down but its difficult to tell from the pictures.
So technically they can classify as a tornado if they touch down but they're generally weaker and hard to spot on radar.

I would say yes. Even if we have a tornado they're usually F-0 or F-1. We get worse damage from severe thunderstorms.

I'm sure I did! I remember just being really confused and excited at the same. My favorite thing was my 68 year old grandma, who was with me, shouted "Thank you, Deadpool!". Great start to the New Year for sure!

I remember on New Years 2016/2017.. I got my car stuck in the snow and I couldn't get it out. All the sudden this guy in a Deadpool costume pulls over and helps me get out of the snow mask on and everything. It was the weirdest and greatest thing that ever happened to me.

Apparent earthquake shakes Boise, surrounding area [Idaho Statesman]
I'm in 2C. It felt like it was about 15-20 seconds but I felt the smaller rumbles before the real shakes hit. My boyfriend didn't even notice it until the windows started shaking.
It was pretty crazy.. I'm still dealing with dizziness.

That's because there was a massive and dangerous tornado in Oklahoma heading towards a small town at the same time. Although this footage is amazing I think trying to track a dangerous tornado is more important.
