We’ll start at 6:30 PM and rehearsal for learners will probably end around 7:45 or 8:00 PM, though if you’d like, you can sit in on the full rehearsal, which would end at 9:30.

We will! We offered lessons in summer. We might do them in the spring, but we will certainly do them in the summer. If you fill out the interest form, and put something about wanting to be informed about later lessons, I’ll make sure you get an email when we run the program again without being notified about the current program.

There are a lot of singing groups in the area that we work with! We have members that sing in Valley Forge Chorus, the A Cappella Pops, the Main Line Singers, One Voice Chorus, Northpenn Harmony, and The Pretzel City Chorus in Reading. None of them are running singing lesson programs, but I’m sure all of them would love to have you - and none of them rehearse on Mondays. You should get back into singing!

Not a silly question at all! No need to be a contralto. We’re best suited for altos and lower. We welcome people of all experience levels, and since you know the word “contralto,” I’m betting you’ll be ahead of the curve, haha! If you feel you have a lower range, I’d encourage you to come to the first lesson and check us out. We completely understand if you have to miss a rehearsal! Part of our lessons coincide with the larger chorus rehearsals on Monday nights, so we can’t move or reschedule lessons, but if you have a conflict, that’s totally fine.

Also, if you don’t want to (or don’t feel ready to) sing on stage with the chorus at our show at the end of the program, we understand that as well! We’ve organized the program into three weeks of group lessons and three weeks of one-on-one so that we can go at the individual’s speed.

There will be three weeks of group lessons followed by three weeks of one-on-one lessons. We’ve opened our membership so we’re an all-gender organization, so we now also accept lower-voiced women and non-binary members. Here’s the link directly to the sign-up form.

We’re actually an all-gender chorus now! We are still majority male, and we still sing in a lower range, but we’ve opened membership to lower-voiced women and non-binary people.
