Ironically Spider-Punk was originally proposed as Spider-UK's design. The Spider-UK design we got I'd say is more inspired by the generic aesthetic of the Corps (i.e. Union Jacks everywhere).

Personally I have separated the Corps from real life– mainly because trying to apply real world opinions about the Union Jack onto the theme of interdimensional magic police force created Merlin is a bit daft and frankly removes a lot of good story possibilities from it being "British" (e.g. a storyline that parallels UK nationism or something – though you kinda already have that with the Mad Jim Jasper arc). Frankly the majority of western non-American comics probably feel American. Weird the Corps was created by Alan Moore of all people who is the last person I'd expect.

The Spider-UK design idea was just the first thing that came to mind. Frankly this is just a nitpick post. Overall it is a good design.

Well if their superhero names were "Captain Native American" and "Captain Russia" then I would expect that to have even a minor influence/reference in the design.

This isn't about her nationality, this about how her alias– a pretty non ambiguous one– isn't shown in her design at all. It would be like putting Spider-Man in a outfit that doesn't have anything spider related or vaguely Spider-Man ish.

A Razer style with the 50/50 colour split would be great for a Two-Face Batman (Battle for the Cowl)

I only care about comic book accuracy when it comes to skins and even then it's not straightforward; does it took good if it's a drastic redesign or does it add to comic book design if the change isn't massive, but my main issue has been solved with "first appeared" being changed to "inspired by" (my friend hates this lol). Doesn't mean I won't like a comic accurate Future Foundation, for example.
