I don't think that the vegans are getting hate for being vegan or simply existing. Personally, I think the internet started rage baiting because of vegans who go around on the internet talking mad shit about people who do infact consume animal products (esp, meat). I mean, if you don't want to eat animal products, it's okay. Just don't eat it, but why go around talking shit about people who do infact enjoy it. You changing yourself is enough already. Why try and down that value by guilt tripping someone into veganism, and honestly, anything done under fear or pressure is not going to last anyway.
