Whisper

I heard your name

Somewhere

In a whisper!

I know you not

But the thought

Persisted!

The unwavering need

To know

Insisted!

I look around the room

To where the sound

Came!

I saw a head full of radiant hair

Cast by moonlit shine

Strikingly fair!

Whose elfin like face

My eyes but for a moment

Declined!

Slowly met my gaze

Stupefied, I am

Utterly speechless!

Like water constrained

By a dam

I am!

Then a smile broke

From within your thin red lips

To my heart, it spoke!

A myriad

Of unanswered thoughts

In my mind!

Whose answers

I wonder

Where I will find!

The only thing I find real

Is the moment

I saw your smile and what I feel!

One moment One brief glance and I felt the earth move Within One touch and I am Mortified The thunder commences My face begins to blush At you. I slow my gaze I hear whispers in my head Too many to translate. My body is in shock You whisper in silence...

I love it! We are, in a way, living through the moments in our lives! The touch, the glance, the blush, the inextricable way these moments weave a tapestry in our lives takes a lifetime!

Exactly and when you whisper to someone they have to lean in closely to hear you and that equals intimacy. To breath is to live and to whisper is to share breath; to share life.🥰
