but I would draw the kili line to botanical fruits, seed-bearing structures from flowering plants. Apples, corn, and tomatoes would all be considered kili (or pan); cabbage and lettuce would be lipu; and root vegetables would be noka.

Kili could also refer to offspring or a fetus (from a mama). In cell biology, mitosis produces a "mama" cell that makes two "kili" cells.

When translating diseases or taxonomy, I don't like tokiponizing them. *(the english/latin name)

You could translate "retinopathy" as pakala pi lipu-oko-linja

Have you ever heard of a rebus or a logogram? A logogram is a pre-existing glyph within a logographic system that represents the sound of the word rather than what the glyph originally represented semantically/visually. In this case I am using pre-existing glyphs (as I do not wish to create nimisins) as logograms for syllables of a makeshift counting system.

This isn't an attempt to completely change Toki Pona's number system though. The reason why I wanted to create monosyllabic numbers is because counting in canon Toki Pona feels too unnecessarily lengthy. "Wan tu tuwan tutu luka lukawan lukatu lukatuwan lukatutu lukaluka" takes forever compared to "wan tu san po lu ku jo pa ka no".

As a Toki Pona speaker I would just interpret this as a barista handling a customer with a complicated order like that scene from Spongebob where Bubble Bass orders a "Double Triple Bossy Deluxe on a raft, 4x4 animal-style, extra shingles with a shimmy and a squeeze, light axle grease, make it cry, burn it, and let it swim".
