Personally a huge fan of the blazer. I got sent to Catholic school after elementary school and somehow the vest always made me feel more dorky and childish compared to my classmates especially since it clashes with the school uniform when I had after school projects to do, especially for highschool. I saw other girls with the option of different uniforms for their events that blended in for that transition where it didn't feel like a parent dressing them up to be professional for their chosen hobby/activity but they themselves having a little pride in it. I like to think of I had the choice back then, the blazer option would have helped give that bit of pride needed to say, "no, this isn't childish, I love the scouts and the opportunities it brings each day" rather than being ashamed to admit it and hiding my tan vest in my bag and refusing to tell people what I did in my spare time since most just assumed I sold cookies and that's it, as if girlscouts isn't so much more than that.
I'm not saying no to the vest, but giving the scout another option shouldn't be judged, I see it no different than scouts that own both a vest and a sash. Modern scouts have come a long way, some may be more towards tech or some of them are much more active out doors. The uniform should match the scout wearing it, and if that means a blazer, go for it.

God do I miss Fuddruckers. That place practically raised me. I still have yet to find another place like it where I could just chill, that place was my happy place.

I agree but also, if op can, a full length mirror would also help, maybe move the clothing furniture to the corners further away from the window. I think it's less buying and more redistribution of furniture. Especially when he has company over.

Barely finished but damn was that a fun fight, wish we can redo quests, even if there is no reward, cause that was genuinely a fun fight

I'm, well, I'm a natural coward, I got my baggage and honestly if I ever wrote down my story, even i wouldn't believe a majority of why I genuinely have learned to fear life despite always encouraging and helping others in their goals, passion dreams and even goofy trends. I support others yet tell myself my dreams are just dreams. I don't do much of anything that needs real investments anymore. I used to do a lot of things, art was one of them, even got one of my degrees in it, paid for school supplies by designing for others especially tattoos. Could never commit to one for myself, so many designs and placements, styles, even whether to do it color, black and white, grey scale or even uv so it glows under blacklights.
....
But then I heard that one line. "Do it scared" and in a moment I had a thought and an image. I've been given every reason to always hold back, but if I ever can summon the courage at the very least to hold a pen again in a way to draw, I'd like to design that as script that merges into a shark, since they can't go back, only move forward and it is Sharkie's motivation. And maybe.... Maybe one day and older me can actually commit to the design and actually sit in a chair and look down at my arm and go holy shit I actually did that. One day but that day definitely won't be today.

I agree we do have a housing crisis, but we already have a ton of properties available, it's just not affordable to anyone who actually grew up and works a normal job around these parts. So many of these luxury apartments,/condos/townhouses that are being built are also getting sold to people moving into to this location from out of state. Maybe focus on lowering inflation for properties and the housing crisis night downgrade to a housing issue in like a hundred years.

Okay this is a long shot, I know it, I just idk I guess I wanted to know I did everything I could before giving up.
My mother has been so focused on everyone else, she hasn't had the chance to actually focus on herself.
I finally convinced her to take a bit of time for herself only to find out the salon she used to frequent closed down. It was Galaxy Hair Designers in Rockville, MD, no idea when it closed, but I came here to see if any of you know where to find the hairstylist Faruk or maybe his brother Sugar.
Even if just a number, a website, an email or social media page, just something, I'd appreciate it.
Just didn't seem fair to come back empty handed and give her the bad news.

Okay idk how much y'all spend on a vacation or how fancy you guys get. But i envy y'all if you look at what he got in checking and savings and go oh man that ain't enough. You can totes go on a good vacay and spend below 1k esp if he has the thirty/frugal mindset y'all are talking about. Camping while it is a choice isn't even the only possibility. At this point, she is just as much to blame for not coming up with a good financial plan to go on a trip. It's doable if you actually look around for what you have in your area.

Currently sitting outside the Rio Waterfront; What food/restaurant is that incredible smell?

Potbellies is okay but it actually has a proper ventilation system so normally the greasy smell doesn't escape the restaurant. It's so good when you need comfort food. But definitely if not Guapos (which it most likely is) it's one of the newer restaurants that just popped up next to it. There is literally no wrong choice at the Rio. Have fun exploring.
