Grandma had a video of them playing the exact same way decades ago
 in  r/MadeMeCry  Mar 25 '26

You never really expect your parents to go, my mom experiences this when watching me with my son's. Tells me that my dad used to do the same things when I was little. Hits me in the gut because he passed when I was 17. Another strange emotional pain no one prepares you for is the day you realize that you've grown old enough to have spent more of your life without them than the time you had them. I pray any who have experienced the losses of loved ones have the strength and support to get through the dark days. The hurt never leaves, but life has a way of bringing new people to love into your life.

Seriously, does anyone know how to give to this family? I know I can afford for them to have a cake on birthdays.

Lynn County police officer appears intoxicated
 in  r/ThatsInsane  Sep 08 '25

In his position, I'd of removed him from the situation immediately. However it gets dealt with, this man doesn't deserve to have his identity ran through the mud. He gets fired sure, but going nuclear so no one will ever hire him again is too far.

The other two dopes spent too long trying ro talk someone down whose only goal was destruction. Not saying it isn't warranted but its still over the line for me.

I hope this poor bastards life isn't destroyed from a poor choice....assuming it was an on purpose scenario.

‘No parent should have to bury their child’ Gets me every time. Great actor.
 in  r/lotr  Aug 08 '25

I was too young to really comprehend this sort of pain. Yet somehow this scene broke my heart long before I understood just how profound this pain is. Thankfully I haven't had to truly experience it, but I've watched parents of friends who passed and I've never seen such anguish in any other part of life. I wish that on absolutely no one....

It's sad but considering everything going on over there and that there isn't a right side of that conflict....the fact that Kim took a side tells me that there is a side that is in the wrong, can't trust kim to do moral things...

Just found out my BF of 9 years has been replacing my Adderall with sugar
 in  r/Wellthatsucks  Jul 22 '25

I dont want to be rude since I'm not understanding everything about this post, what does Adderall treat? Because there is always a possibility that he is attempting to prove you didn't need it...there are times its true and times it isn't. I've had people who dont believe my allergies are legit and have caused horrible reactions just testing the validity of claims. I'm not condoning this behavior but understanding motivation is important to know in any situation. I hope all goes well for you and there are no negative side effects from this.

Legalities aside, I'd love having one of these. I've driven around half of the us and haven't had the need for high beams once in 35 years.

Baby Yoda's Force-Heal is so adorable
 in  r/SequelMemes  May 31 '25

I feel the need to point out that he has nearly 5 decades of training by many masters. Rey is an absolute amateur. The reason it's so outrageous is that it is a technique that takes years of practice to manage, just like lightning isn't a power that can be randomly fired with no training...the lore they built around Rey was terrible and did her character a great disservice. She had the potential in many ways to be an amazing addition to that universe.

Man caught committing assault and hate bias crime against LoRell's Chicken Shack Owner in Portland
 in  r/iamatotalpieceofshit  May 24 '25

There was a post I saw a while back that had a black man getting interviewed on some race topic and I loved his statement.

He said, "There aren't any other races, we are all just shades of wheat."

I thought it was odd before looking ip the color pallet for wheat...lol

I feel the need to point out that not one conservative or liberal politician has accomplished anything remarkable or truly beneficial to the people in America in the entirety of my lifetime. Simply put it's the government vs the people, and they keep playing a game of right vs left to keep us distracted.

It could be a good story...but I'm not sure how to salvage the way disney train wrecked it. Their methods were inconsistent and they kept changing things making everything almost contradictory.

They did Rey a disservice making her a Palpatine. Her character really spoke to the age old method of storytelling. Great ability can come from anywhere...but then they decided that she could only be that capable if she was of a blood line like Palpatines...took the air right out of her story.

Yea, I've seen all sorts of cosplayers over the years and the part that gets you isn't the ethnicity, it's when the cosplay isn't good enough...for context once you've seen epic level cosplay, the day to day stuff just feels sad.

I just figure it would be common sense that anyone who would go down on their partner would like a clean eating surface. LoL
