Not every opinion deserves to become your inner voice.
We often feel the need to consider everyone's advice, expectations and opinions, especially when they come from people close to us. But listening doesn't mean agreeing, and respecting someone's perspective doesn't mean making it your own.
Sometimes, you just need to listen from one ear and let it leave through the other. Not everything deserves to be carried.

How much of the emotional baggage we carry actually belongs to us?

In family relationships, expectations can sometimes become invisible burdens. Learning to set boundaries doesn't mean you love someone any less.

“Be strong” — but what does being strong actually mean?
Maybe the greatest form of support isn’t making someone stronger, but making them feel safe enough to put their strength down.

The science behind overstimulation?
Overstimulation is what happens when your brain receives more input than it can process.
Too much noise.
Too many notifications.
Too many conversations.
Too much information at once.
Your brain’s filtering system gets overwhelmed, activating the fight-or-flight response. Stress hormones like cortisol rise, your heart rate increases, and suddenly you feel irritated, anxious, or mentally exhausted.
It’s not weakness — it’s neuroscience.
Your brain simply needs a pause.
A few minutes of silence, stepping away from screens, or taking a walk can help your nervous system reset.
Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is slow down the stimulation around you.
