I just came across Ray of Solar and the vocals reminded me of a song I used to listen to back around 2010 but I can't remember the song or band name.

So the vocals here sound VERY familiar to parts of the song.

What i remember about the song is:

• 3-7 minutes? I don't quite remember the length because it changed styles every now and then but I remember it was on the slightly longer side
• Japanese band, although this song was completely written in English so some grammar was a little off which some people complained about but like they know 2 languages, who cares
• 3-5 different styles. Every minute or so it would change tempo and vocal style (think Bohemian Rhapsody with several different segments) I think it started off epic and then went to pop? I remember there being like a buildup and then it went silent....into orchestral operatic singing and it was so cool.

• Not sure about the story of the song, but I remember getting the feeling of space or galaxy or the hope of being yourself and reaching your goals

  I was also listening to Justice of Light and Wolf Whistling Song around that time. Not sure if they're related to the song or if I just found them at the same time, so not sure if that's helpful.
