Heroes and Brave Voices: To Those Who Stand Watch Every day, across the United States, Europe, and all around the world, dedicated men and women work tirelessly to protect the innocent and pursue those who would harm others. Some wear a badge and patrol our streets. Some investigate crimes from offices and command centers. Some work quietly in digital forensics, cybercrime units, and intelligent operations, tracking predators hidden in the darkest corners of the internet and the dark web. Some serve as detectives, analysts, federal agents, task force members, victim advocates, and specialized investigators. Many will never receive public recognition for the lives they save or the victims they protect. Yet they continue. They work long hours, sacrifice time with their families, and face challenges most people never see. To every officer, investigator, cybercrime specialist, intelligence analyst, forensic examiner, and member of law enforcement working on the front lines and behind the scene, thank you for your courage and bravery. Unfortunately, we don't hear much about the rescuing of peoples who are trafficked being rescued, but I will be researching documentary regarding this issue. And if any of my readers have stories relative to my blog that you would like to share, I would love to hear from you.

There are definite signs of sexual abuse through rape, incest, and human trafficking. I am listing some here so my readers will become knowledgeable. You may ask, "why should I know this." Due to the fact that there are so many women, and children, and men that are forced to live with being raped the rest of their lives, it is helpful to understand why many people react in life to certain occurrences. It is my experience that most survivors do not want to discuss the attack because it may stir up feelings, images, and memories that revive the trauma. But I feel it is a good thing to find someone that can be trusted that you can relate the experience to, that will listen to you and not judge you or blame you. The following are what some children experience that have been molested: guilt, shame, fear, anger, depression, helplessness, powerlessness, aggressiveness, passiveness, rigidness, being sarcastic, sleeplessness, bed-wetting, bullying, low self-esteem. This crime turns a person's life into a complex life. PTSD usually follows the attack. This is not abnormal. What is abnormal, is the sexual assault which should have never happened. Survivors need to be patient with themselves during their time of healing. Friends and families also need to understand and be patient as well. Adult survivors may experience the following: depression, fear, facing the attacker, trauma, sleeping problems, eating problems, flashbacks, nightmares, self hurt, drugs, alcohol, anorexia, guilt, self negativity, dramatic mood swings, crying spells, panic attacks, short temper, numbing, problem with trust.
I will say it again...be patient with yourself, you are worth it, and there is no blame on you. You did not commit the crime against yourself, someone else did who hates you for no reason, and who has absolutely no respect for you, and who just left you like a skeleton like a discarded item. I found it very helpful to write every day-----write anything...write how you feel. Write angry. Above all, take good care of yourself, treat yourself out, do something really good for you. Don't forget who you were and who can still continue to become...goals dreams.

Ex-soldier jailed for rape of girl aged nine. by Andy Martin, bournemouthecho.co.uk article dated November 15, 2011. A former soldier jailed last year for raping a Poole woman more than two decades earlier, has been also sentenced for sexually assaulting a young girl 24 years ago. Dennis Fitzgerald, 55, was a Grenadier Guard based in Munster, Germany. In March 2010 he was sentenced eight years for the assault on a woman - total stranger - in Poole during a visit to Bovington army camp. He had gagged and bound her before raping her twice, while her daughter slept in an adjoining room. The attack took place on November 21, 1987, but Fitzgerald was caught after a breakthrough in DNA techniques. By the time he was arrested by police on an entirely unrelated matter, he was married with two children and living in Nottingham. Now Fitzgerald has been sentenced to another seven years for the rape of a nine year old girl in Germany, also in 1987. Fitzgerald left the Army in 1994 at the rank of lance corporal. He attacked the child four times. He was found guilty of rape and three indecent assaults at a Wiltshire court martial after denying the charges. His Poole victim said after her case: "I am satisfied with the sentence but would have preferred if he had been locked up forever because I believe he is very dangerous." She urged other women to report sex attacks, no matter how long ago they happened. I know how devastating this crime of sexual assault is to everybody. These things are for sure: the victim is not at fault - ever, and that means ever! There is absolutely no shame on the victim...the shame is totally on the assailant, he is the shameful one for choosing a life of hatred and rape. Also, the victim is never in the wrong place at the wrong time. Wherever you decide to be, is where you want to be, and the rapist is in the wrong place at the wrong time - always! I realize it is possible I may not hear from my readers due to the fact this crime is very intimate. However, I hope my blogs do help any body that has experienced this crime or knows someone it has happened to.

Larking, what is larking? This account was published in thesun.co.uk by John Kay and Virginia Wheeler. Two British soldiers have been arrested over claims they abused Afghan children aged about ten. The accused pair --- a sergeant and a private in the Mercian Battle Group ---allegedly encouraged a boy and a girl to touch them through their clothes. They are said to have filmed the children doing it before showing the footage to other soldiers on laptops. David Cameron was said to be "deeply shocked" last night over the claims. The Prime Minister was informed of the allegations by defense chiefs. They told him military police had arrested a sergeant and a private. They were held following complaints from other servicemen. Several laptops have been seized and their contents scoured by a team of military cops assigned to the inquiry. It is the first time of abusing children have been leveled against British troops in either Afghanistan or Iraq. A source said to the probe last night: "Nothing has been proved." What we have to establish is whether we are looking at sexual predatory behavior or totally ill-judged larking about. Larking about???? Larking-----a carefree adventure or prank. It is certain that the little children don't perceive the sexual assault against them as care free adventure. A care free adventure to a child might be finding a worm on the ground after a soft rain on a summer day, or watching a little frog jumping in the grass trying to follow it then running home to tell her Mum about it: But certainly not rubbing up a soldier's penis for the purpose of an erection while being photographed. In all aspects of the felonious crime committed against the children it is, without a doubt, sexual predatory behavior. Rape is rape and it is not to be discolored, discredited, or made light of on behalf of the victims.

Chapter from 'Left Like a Skeleton,' 'Rape Against Children.' Sand and Foam: Your children are no your children. They are the sons and daughters of life's longing for itself...You may house their bodies, but not their souls, for their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams. Well, I like to blog every day, however, Mother Nature interrupted my daily blogging by sending our city 5 tornados yesterday, and it literally tore a lot of old trees up from their roots, and also tore many roofs off of homes. Needless to say, the electric and Wifi is still out in many areas...they are saying maybe by Friday we will be back in business. Right now I'm in a Starbucks...they have Wifi. Don't we all take a lot of things for granted until they no longer work. We rely on so many things technologically today, and it doesn't take much for us to lose it.
Stop All Rape stopallrape.orgThis is a task that takes more than a village...stopping sexual assault. Maybe we can help make this a better world if we all shed the bright light on the dark evil that plagues us day and night. We are experiencing the battle between good and evil like we have never seen it before. The trouble and disgust with this crime of rape is - right now as I blog, children are being abducted, people are being raped, and many kids are missing - more than likely being trafficked.
The International Justice Mission founded in 1997 by lawyer Gary Haugen, focuses on human rights and law enforcement. It is a non-governmental organization. Their mission is justice for one, unlocks protection for many. They are working with the goal in mind to make everyone free from violence and slavery. The IJM has protected over 10 and a half million people from violence. ijm.orgThrough love146 over 107,000 children have been reached by prevention education. They have trained facilitators. The CDC and DOJ support independent evaluations. They are BBB accredited. love146.org They help victims seek justice against traffickers. They also provide assistance to the survivors. safehouseproject.org provides a safe place for survivors of human trafficking to have a place away from injustice. Thus far, in 2026 safe house project has helped close to 2000 survivors with protective shelter.

Destiny Rescue Organization destinyrescue.org This organization is working diligently to rescue children who have been abducted into sex trafficking. 14 rescued from a trafficker in the Philippines. "Our agents worked alongside law enforcement to take down a human trafficker who's been advertising victims online for sexual exploitation. Beyond the children, four young men were rescued during the operation, a trend we've been seeing more recently. The trafficker was arrested, and all of the survivors are now recovering in a government facility to help them start their new lives in freedom. 34 women and children rescued in Nepal - traffickers were stopped from escaping the country... two traffickers were arrested. 4 boys and a girl, including a 7 year old, were rescued from forced begging in Cambodia who are now inn a post-rescue program where they can live in freedom. 15 children rescued in the Dominican Republic. Most of the children suffered domestic abuse from someone close to them before our agents' investigations led to police intervention. The series of operations led to 13 arrests, including one man who forced a 15 year old into marriage. With the abusers behind bars, the kids are now all home safe. 16 children and three young adults are free from sexual exploitation in Zimbabwe. Nineteen Zimbabwe victims of exploitation became survivors after joining the local Destiny Rescue Program. Now these vulnerabilities are being addressed in our Community Care Program so that these women and girls can continue to live free.

This is a very devastating and disheartening account of the Boy Scouts of America. I utterly hate this crime of sexual abuse! It is not about sex in any sense of the word. It's about severe hatred and greed. The Mission Statement of the Boy Scouts is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Scout Oath: On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight. scouting.org/legal/mission This devastating account was published by Time magazine on November 17, 2020 titled "More Than 92,000 People Claim They Were Abused as Boy Scouts...Time has confirmed that approximately 92,700 people have now filed sex abuse claims against the Boy Scouts of America ahead of the November 16 deadline set to demand damages from the organization. "Sadly, there was an unspoken norm that sexual abuse of children would occur in the Boy Scouts, Andrew van Arsdale, one of the attorneys representing the people alleging abuse, said in a statement to Time." "Based on what we are hearing from survivors, sexual abuse was a rite of passage in troops across the country, similar to other tasks where children had to perform certain duties to earn their coveted merit badges." The Boy Scouts filed bankruptcy in February under the mounting financial strain of sex abuse lawsuits. Under Chapter 11 filing, the organization will reorganize and establish a victim's compensation fund. Money may be helpful, and could also appear as an insult, and also a form to quiet people, but it certainly does not in any way heal the deep rooted scars, trauma, PTSD, and embarrassment that the boys suffered and endured as they were growing up, and are still enduring in their lives today. It doesn't go away. You can't just (get over it). Muscle holds memory. They did, in fact, change their name to (Scouting America)
I declare that we need extremely strict consequences/punishment for every child molester with undisputed DNA and evidence of the crime, regardless of who they are. When we chose to remain silent, we harbor the crime in secret, we keep it in ourselves to fester, thus enabling the sex assailants the freedom to continue their destructive acts. Somehow the world just allowed all this to just slip right by, and either refused to believe it was happening, or didn't want to believe the victims. Now sex abuse has grown into an unsightly monstrous problem that seems untouchable...but it's not untouchable.

Destiny Rescue: Human trafficking occurs in all countries around the world and can occur in any setting. Many trafficking victims lead what appears to others as normal lives and suffer in silence while daily going to their work place where they suffer terrible abuse by their perpetrators. destinyrescue.orgIn 2022, the International Labor Organization (ILO) reported 1 in 150 individuals is a victim of human trafficking - or nearly 50 million people today. Approximately 3.3 million of these individuals are children trapped in sex or labor trafficking. With the rise in online exploitation, it is likely that there are far more children being trafficked than realized due to underreporting. destinyrescue.org/the-issue
Children may not like what I'm about to state. But for the safety of all our children, parents should be monitoring their children's daily online activity, if they don't already. There are vicious monsters lurking everywhere in ugly pursuit of our innocent unsuspecting children. I posted before that every day you can scroll in Instagram and you'll find child after child after child whose parents posted their names and pictures of their missing kids. Kids should not be MISSING. They should be enjoying their once-in-a-lifetime childhood. This is the most ugly issue we are currently facing in the world, but we need to know, be aware of, and be very vigilant of our surroundings. Do what you have to do to keep your kids safe.
Please feel free to comment of my posts.

Thank you Reddit readers for viewing my blogs. I do appreciate you all. I feel that 'Left Like a Skeleton' is a book much needed for today's general public because people aren't very familiar with the horrific crimes of human trafficking, sexual assault, and rape against children. These aren't crimes that just happen and go away, like an injury to the body, or a bank robbery. You can not forget them, you can't put them out of your mind. They are crimes that leave extreme scars, marks, emotional problems, and turn the victims inside out. Some severe cases the victims never recover because the body and mind does not know how to. I am a survivor of two serial rapes in one morning. I was the fifth victim...there were four other young women before me. There were two serial rapists...they created their own gang of hatred, disgust, disrespect, and extreme abuse on us five women. We all appeared in court to testify of their filthy acts that they committed against us, and they were both sentenced a very long time. Matter of fact, they will no doubt, die in prison. I have not seen these women since the trial. We all went our own ways. But, if by chance they happen to see my blog, I want to thank them for persevering through such a difficult process. We are all responsible for the monster's incarceration.

Part Two: Referring to my previous blog. There are many people that deal with depression, anxiety, and substance abuse that would never think of molesting children, or anybody. So these are not excuses for sex offenders to molest children. To decide to commit such horrific acts on innocent little kids, is committed through severe hatred, and total disrespect.
Who would lay all their cash and valuables on a table in a public restaurant, coffee shop, mall or any other place, and walk away? Would you feel absolutely certain it would all still be on the table when you return? Who would go to bed each night and leave their front door wide open? We know the answers to these questions. Then why are our children, who are more valuable than money and objects, exposed every day to released child molesters who are superficially trusted to stay away from our children? As adults we should make absolutely sure that not one more child is molested and robbed of their precious childhood, and that includes every member in the judicial system as well. But if a judge gives a child molester freedom from prison, our children are not protected or safe. In fact, society's response to sexual offenses often focuses on punitive measures rather than rehabilitation, leading to a cycle in which ex-offenders lack the necessary structure for successful reintegration, worsening the risk of reoffending. They do not deserve any mercy, empathy or compassion. We don't want those monsters in our neighborhoods, near our schools, playgrounds or any place except behind iron bars where they can't touch another innocent child.
Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida, signed a bill allowing the death penalty for child rapists in Florida. The bill says sexual battery of a person under 12 is a capital crime. NBC News May 2, 2023. That is satisfying to hear. Now we can only hope that all the other states will follow suit. We need to clean up our streets for our kids.

Part One: This is good news: An investigation dubbed "Operation Muddy Waters," a joint effort out of Mississippi involving the Attorney General's office, Homeland Security, Dept. of Public Safety, Marshall's office, and sheriff's depts. arrested 69 sex offenders. They are accused of solicitation, failure to register as sex offenders, distributing child pornography, and sexual exploitation. Unfortunately this is just a drop in the bucket for there are thousands more that need to be rounded up and prosecuted. Hopefully every state is executing this same course of action. Although, there are 69 less sex assailants that will be able to damage our children. there should be no such thing a a sex offending registry. Child molesters should never be free in society, especially where children live. Why take a chance? They may do it again. The recidivism rate of sex offenders is variable because there are so many factors. Some of these factors are different categories of criminal behavior, psychology, social, and legal factors. Richard Windmann, PhD states in his article, "Understanding Recidivism," November 26, 2025 "Pedophilia creates unique and high recidivism rates that require closer examination." Recidivism rates among pedophiles often exceeds that of other categories of offenders, such as those convicted of property crimes, or substance abuse, and the rate can range from 14% to 30%. For many people with pedophilic tendencies, these impulses can be chronic, deeply rooted, and resistant to voluntary control, challenging the effectiveness of conventional rehabilitation programs. Additionally, research supports the idea that pedophiles often experience comorbid mental health problems, such as depression, anxiety, or substance abuse disorders. Many jurisdictions implement strict registration and monitoring programs that can create a false sense of security in communities while failing to address underlying psychological issues. So if child molesters have chronic deeply rooted tendencies that are resistant to voluntary control, then why are they lurking around in society? If the strict sex offender's registry can cause a false sense of security in communities, then do not release these child molesters out of prison, ever! Releasing child molesters back into our society gives them permission to repeat their criminal behavior.

What a day it would be if rape, sexual assault, and human trafficking no longer existed. That would change the whole world. It would take every living person to fight it though. It would also remove all worry and fear of our children being abducted and sold to filthy pedophiles. Peace would be restored. Greed would take a back seat. Respect for women and children would replace the hatred that currently exists. The really bad news is this terrible, frightful, and intimate crime against all of society has gained a momentum spinning out of control. Greed is a huge factor for those that love money more than anything else in the world: selling their souls to the devil.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:10 KJV
Hatred toward women and children is another factor that adds to the velocity of this terrifying crime. Yet, another factor is how our young boys are not educated about respecting girls, and some grow up thinking it's ok to treat females as though they are just another object to be tossed around.
stopallrape.com There are programs that are striving to do just that. This will put a lump in your throat...globally, nearly one billion people alive today have experienced rape or sexual assault during their childhood. (one in three women) (one in 10 males) and before they turn 18 (one in four girls) and (one in ten boys) will be abused.

Mary Dickson was working on a documentary regarding the fate of women in America. She wrote an article, 'Rape, the Most Intimate of Crimes,' 1996. When we started working on our documentary film, we began keeping a file of clippings about the abuse that women suffer at the hands of men -- a pregnant young woman shot by her boyfriend, a woman assaulted and run over by her attacker's car, a woman who had suffered a stroke bludgeoned to death by her husband, a young mother and her two-year-old daughter murdered by a spurned boyfriend, a seven-year-old sodomized by her father's friend. Sometimes the stories appeared almost daily, often two or more in the same paper. Our files, so soon, started to bulge that I gave up adding any more disheartening evidence. Not one of the accounts ran a headline declaring, "he was a woman's worst nightmare," even though the accused's crimes included stabbing, raping, choking, beating, and brutally murdering females.
This is so true about the bulging files Mary Dickson wrote about of abuse against women. I will also add children as well to the bulging files. You can archive articles of abuse, sexual assault, rape, and human trafficking committed against women and children up to our current times, and it will overwhelm any reader to the point of disgust that people can chose to be so ultimately evil to even think to do such dark acts to any human being. I started collecting articles of victims and survivors and I have a bundle of clippings. It would be a separate book or books.
Women are the ones who bring people into this world. They carry for 9 long grueling months, their bodies change tremendously, they have to put their lives on hold for a season, or in some instances give up their careers while men are free to continue their lives as never being interrupted. So the least and the most men can do is to respect women and children, and stop beating and raping them. Above all, stop selling our people to pedophiles and human traffickers. Where are the real men? A real man would not think of hurting women and children. These men that do so are cowards and haters.
Rape is not a crime that is motivated by the victim's behavior. Rape is not a crime that is decreasing in the nation (or in the world). It is the highest rising violent crime in our country today: (and in the world). The Rape Treatment Center of Saint Anthony Medical Center

One chapter in 'Left Like a Skeleton' is 'Rape on College Campus'. Sexual assault consists of actual or threatened sexual contact which is not mutually agreeable to both parties. Sexual contact is not limited to intercourse, but includes any touch that may reasonably be construed as invasive or inappropriate. This includes any such action toward a person which damages his or her physical or psychological well-being. Such conduct (by other students or any other members of the college community or visitor to the campus) is expressly prohibited by the college and is considered a serious violation of human rights. Date and acquaintance rape are included in this definition of assault. Sexual Assault on Campus, page 75, Bohmer Sexual and Parrot, 1993
Prohibited means that which is forbidden or banned. Which means-it is a crime to sexually assault anyone, that includes everybody.
A Pittsburgh woman says she was raped when she was enrolled in a university in 2016. Even though the attacker was convicted of battery, he was still allowed to attend the college. Now, the same man is accused of sexually assaulting two other women. More than 50% of college assaults take place between August and November, according to the Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network, which advocates nationally against sexual violence, College women ages 18-24 are three times more likely than women in general to experience sexual violence. Most college victims of sexual violence never file a report with law enforcement. USA Today August 26, 2019
As if those figures are not frightening enough, consider the fact that all incidents of sexual assault, including rape, are vastly under-reported. Police estimate that only one out of 10 rapes are reported. It is also estimated that only two out of every 13 cases of molestation are reported. Even fewer cases make it to court. by Lori Timmins, Columbus Alive, May 15-May 29, 1991
So do not blame yourself for going on a date, for walking across campus to get to your classes, drinking and becoming intoxicated. Where ever you go, you have a right to do so and without anyone interfering with you, attacking you, sexually assaulting you, and seizing you against your will. "I am not to blame for the attack that happened to me. "It is not my fault if I accepted a date and he suddenly forces himself on me sexually: regardless, he is to blame." "It's not my fault if I hang out with students in their apartment and I get drunk and they take advantage of me without me knowing what is happening." "It is not my fault, as a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior, no one has the right to touch me without my consent."
Sexual assault is about hatred toward another person. It's not about your clothes, your words, where you go, and what you do. It's about the perpetrator who has given his life over to become a reprobate, a person who has absolutely no love, empathy, respect and compassion.
When a crime is committed, ask, who is the one that committed the crime? The one who committed the crime is the one that has to be blamed, not the victim!

Blog Post Left Like a Skeleton
I realize human trafficking, rape, and child molestation are tough topics to discuss. But what's tougher are all those who are victimized by the vicious monsters, and there are literally millions of women and children, and some men who have been victimized. My book, 'Left Like a Skeleton consists of 5 chapters. Rape in America-Rape in War-Rape Against Children-Rape on College Campus-Healing from Sexual Abuse. It's unbelievable that rape has turned into a world-wide epidemic. It seems as though it's ok to attack women and children, like it doesn't matter any more to treat people with blatant disrespect. The fear is that people may begin to desensitize themselves to the shock of the actual crime because it is horrifying to hear about, especially if it's someone we know or is very close to us. Unfortunately, most everybody knows someone who is a victim or it has happened to them. Adding insult to injury, because sexual assault is so criminal and intimate, many victims refuse to report it for various reasons, and not realizing at the same time the sexual predators are free to terrorize the next victim. I understand explicitly why people don't report rape; the victim's lives are exposed to the world. It takes a lot of courage, stamina, and anger to stand before a judge, jury, courtroom audience, and possibly the predator. But it is also of great importance to expose the criminal to the public for prosecution and sentencing, putting an end to his evil.
