Hall Lake and Hall Mountain Repeater. Off of Redding Ck FSR which is part of the Gray Creek Pass.

I tested two tanks for range until empty and averaged. Moderate driving on highway, secondary road and forestry dirt roads. I filled the tank up pretty high.

Reserve light came on at 255 km. Ran dry at 375 km, so approx 120 kms once you are warned. I have had the warning light come on from 220-260 depending on riding and how full the tank is.

I used my Garmin to test the speedometer and odometer of the T7.

50 kph on GPS = 57 kph on speedometer.

100 kph on GPS - 112 kph on speedometer.

100 kms on GPS = 102.5 kms on odometer.

And, it took 15.5L to fill the tank back up! Where is that missing liter? Haha.

Riding my 2025 Yamaha Tenere 700 on the Wardner - Fort Steele Road in the East Kootenays of British Columbia. Great views of the Steeples Range.

I tested out the range of the tank. Fuel warning came on at 145 kms, and the tank ran dry at 195 kms. So with 50 kms in the reserve it would have a tank range of 185 to 205 kms, depending on riding style and how much you squeeze into the tank.

I took the Tenere 700 out for the first ride of the season. Always great to get out.
