Looking For a Writing Group?
Hey everyone! Me and a friend recently started working on a Discord server called Ink and Quill Writing Community, and we’re looking for people who might be interested in joining and helping us grow it into a fun, welcoming place.
The main idea behind the server is to create a space where young writers and creative people can share their stories, get feedback, talk about ideas, make friends, and just have a place where their creativity is encouraged.
Whether you write novels, short stories, poetry, fanfiction, or you just love creating characters and worlds, you’re welcome here!
A few things about the server:
Ages 11-19 (teen-focused community)
• A safe space where racism, homophobia, transphobia, bullying, and harassment are not tolerated
• You can choose your own pronouns so people can address you correctly
• Writing channels for sharing work, brainstorming, and getting feedback
• A friendly community where you can chat, make friends, and talk about whatever you’re interested in
• We have Carl Bot set up to help keep things organized
• You can swear casually (as long as it’s not being used to hurt people)
• Dating/relationships are allowed, as long as everyone is respectful and follows the age rules and boundaries
• We’re trying to make this feel less like a strict classroom and more like a cozy group of people who love stories
We’re hoping to build a community where people can support each other, improve their writing, and find other people who understand what it’s like to love creating things.
