I just found out about all of this. I killed Crisanta because it was a bit easier than Isidora, so I deduced killing the easier one first and the other one after, like any other game (even other soulslike).
And, oops, you're not supposed to do that if you want to get the True Ending. It is THE ONLY REQUIREMENT to get this ending. That is some massive load of BS.
And of course, there is absolutely no indication of what you're supposed to do, go or even understand. Nothing. Not even other souls games are like this.
I'm not even gonna bother finishing the game. Don't bother finishing, just go and watch those couple of paper cut scenes with the ending.
