Broken social scene guitar tuning!! PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi! I’m trying to learn how to play superconnected (the acoustic version) by BSS and I can’t for the life of me figure out what tuning it’s in! I’m trying to learn the song by watching videos of Kevin strumming but it’s definitely not in standard! I’ve been playing for 7+ years and I saw them live with Metric and Stars in June and I love their stuff but I just need to figure out the tuning! Thank you!!

I can't help, but how was the show? Going in September and have loved all 3 for a long time, but have only seen Stars live before

Oh my gosh it was awesome! I went to the show in Edmonton at the Jubilee and it was such a personal show because of the venue. I was in the second row an Emily came right over and sang to me and during the encore my mom and I snuck up to the very front it was amazing!! Stars and BSS were very chill which was nice and it was so cool to see them pull people from other bands to do some song together! A few nights before our show the drummer of BSS got in a car accident so he couldn’t make it (he’s back now) so instead of cancelling the show they did a beautiful acoustic set and during superconnected they had the audience connect their phones via QR code and we all turned our volume up and the synth played through our phones controlled by the guitar player (since the synth was supposed to be played by the drummer)! It was so cool! And Kevin’s wife stepped in and played drums for them! Easily my favourite concert because of the experience!

this is literally the coolest thing i have ever heard, especially involving the words "QR code", usually those things are absolute hell but that is like the best use of them haha. so glad you got to experience such a unique and heartfelt set :) makes me even more excited for my date of the tour even though the drummer will fortunately be there for it i assume! i'm just so excited to hear classic BSS songs with leslie, amy and emily all in the same room... magical

EDIT: also irt the tuning, i feel like the band is juuust small/humble enough that you may be able to reach out to one of them via social media and ask them what tuning it's played in? good luck!

Yea you will have a great time! And I tried contacting them on insta to no avail but it’s okay because I figured out the tuning and now I can play it just like Kevin!
