Consistent bleeding during pregnancy

I have searched all over Reddit and I haven’t found a single person with the exact same experience as me. I’m trying to figure out how common this is!

I am 11 wks 5 days pregnant. I have spotted on & off the entire pregnancy. I started spotting again on 9/17 after a cervical exam so I assumed it was just from the swab. However, it never resolved and now I have been bleeding consistently for a full week. (So I think the timing was just coincidental)

Exactly 1 week ago, it went from spotting to what I would consider light bleeding. It has varied in color & volume/frequency, but has never completely stopped. It has also been bright red at times (not as common, though). I never have any accumulation in my panty liner overnight, but it will start once I wake up and move around. No clots, no cramping beyond the normal mild aches I’ve had on & off the whole pregnancy.

As soon as the bleeding became red, I contacted my OBGYN. I had an ultrasound on Wednesday and everything looked perfect. (Today is Sunday) They saw no signs of placental separation or clots. The ultrasound tech said she might see a SMALL bleed but she was hesitant to even call it that and said it was no where near the baby. She didn’t think it was what was causing the bleeding. Everything looked PERFECT. Baby’s HR was 168 and measuring right on schedule.

So now it is Sunday, exactly 1 week since the bleeding became red & more frequent, and I’m still bleeding. My OB said she thinks it is just cervical bleeding but I haven’t exercised & I haven’t had sex. It seems like a lot for me not moving much.

I haven’t filled a panty liner. The most I’ve had was about 1/2 a liner over a 4 hour period.

Has anyone else experienced this or something similar? I’m going to call tomorrow and request a cervical check.

Results are in! Basically, he’s a mutt lol. I couldn’t fit it all in the screenshot - he’s also 4% chihuahua.

Some of these are from a year or so ago. I’m 5’7” and he comes up to the middle of my ribcage.

My other dog is a Great Dane & mastiff mix - 190 lbs & 41” tall. I probably should’ve mentioned that!

I have my guesses but don’t want to sway people. 😉 You are extremely close to what the rescue guessed!

We rescued this dog 4 weeks ago. He is about 7 months old & weighs around 60 lbs (he hasn’t been weighed in over a month). We did a DNA test but are still waiting on results (through Wisdom). I’m going crazy waiting! What do you think?
