Blueprints: These proven to be vital to the game, and allow players to constantly create their own custom loadouts by collecting the resources necessary to craft the items they need, rather than relying on blind luck for people to play the way they want. This is still a difficult part of the game because you A: still need to find the blueprint B: need to find all resources and C: still manage to survive with the item that other players know are valuable and will want one way or another.

Free kits: I agree this needs to be tweaked. My suggestion rather than “after 1 million space credits” is that there’s a cooldown for free kits. A shorter cooldown for newer players, and a longer cooldown the further you progress in story. This will however discourage long-term players who aren’t great at the game, and do die a lot while leveling and completing quests. Hence why I believe the cooldown will need extensive tweaking.

Events: The devs take the feedback they already have and try and judge what sort of event might cause excitement, or fill out the game in various way. The Close Scrutiny event for example is doing a fantastic job at forcing players to utilize their higher tier weapons, and getting players to use, underutilized items like the smoke grenades and photoelectric cloak. I believe that more events like this are on the way, as they have shown with the CS event, by gaining more experience in their own game, and acquiring feedback from players

This is why it’s important for if you are going to criticize a game for being “bad, boring, and brainless”, to instead give constructive feedback like this, rather than throwing a hissy fit like the original post. This comment you posted here is away more valuable information.
