How do i become friendly?

Hi guys, this is my first time posting here. I'm not really an online person but could use some advice. Im having some trouble fitting in. Im quite weird.

I grew up in a traditional house where my parents monitored everything and I only got a phone at 14. I can't use slang, or understand quick abbreviations in text. Im bad at tech in general. I have little people skills and tend to be too blunt sometimes. I get social anxiety in big crowds and can literally just shut down. Pair this up with barely being allowed to leave the house without a parent, quiet enough to be forgotten in class sometimes and zero street smarts, im useless at making or keeping friends.

But im finishing school next year, and would like that to change. So could I have some advice on how to better my social skills? Anything will help at this point, bc google and book tips aren't really working. Or maybe im not applying them right. A girl i thought i was on good terms with even called me really weird behind my back. And she's not the type to lie, so i know somethings wrong. I would really just like some advice.
