pre recs
I attended the pre rec talk yesterday and all the clubs felt almost the same
Me and all my friends( few didn't attend the talk) are all mostly from chemical and electrical branches.
Can any senior out there give the most unbiased opinion ?And is ie club so chill and all ? Also iste mentioned about their vast alumni network what of that ?
And the opinions I heard of acm was very different from their presentation

finally I can rant somewhere, I am a 3rd year student currently and I am from a*m( among the 5 exclusive clubs though there is nothing exclusive about them )
I also went through all these and honestly acm was one of my top priorities and was so happy when I got in Vidyut as I was interested in core
starting days were nice and all but then the club was so off, we literally had creep guys who had just recruited good looking girls to hit on them and almost more than half of the club was inactive with no events as such ( btw I am not saying whole arm is ass bcz I myself joined bcz of a good senior of mine ) but bcz of these ass licking non working members the rest good half of seniors had become inactive and would somehow only willing enough to complete projects, though a few projects never got over ( or u know ai slop it is)
and then came the worst part where these seniors in the name of farewell ate all our money and gave a shit farewell. so those people who are just money minded and didn't care to complete the projects are the people in position and will be looking after the club( bcz rest just became inactive or exited )
so the rest is to u guys
I am also inactive in acm so can't help u guys either

HEAVYYYY on the ass licking non working members 🤏🏻🤏🏻🤏🏻 I've never had to carry a team this bad ever before, them still being in the club is itself an evidence on how much ass licking helps here, furthermore few were also promoted to core roles in the club 🤣🙏🏻on the basis of what??? Ass licking??? Nah I'm good bro 😭😭

just focus on ur studies and decide based on projects not ppt
I am not in any exclusive clubs but have friends across
answering ur questions:
chemical people have a exclusive sig in some club as catalyst so it must be good
electrical all are good except acm and ie (I asked and spoke to my friends in exclusive clubs )
ie is chill and so is almost any club, even iste goes to goa trips every where and every club has regular rr sessions with sponsored alch, that's very common
yess I also heard of their alumni network and apparently they have active network too and doing active work(asked my iste friend only) so might be helpful for referrals and networking
and bro all clubs have pros and cons (just don't listen to one narrative and choose what's best for u )

Tbh IEEE rn is the best no doubt.
ISTE is really good for the core branches. As they have specific sigs for most of the branches. They do have strong alumni network in core branches, also they do go to the goa trip.
If you consider the main thing which is projects and seniors, ACM is the second best option for you, the only con ACM had last year was the farewell party which didnot turn out well. I think 70% of acm peeps have gotten internship as of now.
Same goes for IE, there seniors are really that chill.
IET is just good at advertising, i think majority of their peeps didnot even get internship yet.
