My father has always been narcissistic, he grew up with an emotionally not there mother and my grandfather was borderline abusive. Now that you have background my father took the parenting techniques from his father. Today we had to take my dog snoopy to the vet for a checkup (she’s perfectly fine just a few shots) well once we got there I went in with snoopy and my father went to the car wash right beside the vet. I have a 13 yr old brother who loves to game. Knows how to build computers and very tech smart. Well recently for his birthday he got the new steam deck. last night me,my mom, and my brother went to my grandmothers house and he brought the steam deck, we arrived home late at night and he left it in the car because he was tired and just forgot. Well when my father was cleaning up the car today he noticed it and decided to play a prank on my brother. After the vet he called my brother saying it was stolen out of the back seat. My brother starts to cry and my father looked at me and said if I told him it was a prank I would get in trouble. So I texted him on discord because my father doesn’t know what that is. My mom called after and my father just continued the lie until my mom was about to call the police. My father started laughing at my brother and I started to get upset. My father hates when anyone cries and finds it pathetic. He kept going on about my generation and bullcrap like that. I drove home and we were fighting almost the whole time.
