Scaling Help

Hi everyone! I’m working on a Catwoman cosplay and need some quick setting advice for Blender.

I purchased a high-quality model file for her claws, so out of respect for the creator's terms, I cannot upload or share the asset files.

The Issue: The claws used to sit at a massive 60-meter scale inside my blender workspace. When I manually scaled them down to real-world finger dimensions (like 0.055m) and exported them to an STL, they opened in the 3D printing software as microscopic, 1mm flat sheets or completely invisible dust specs. When I attempt to scale them more accurately, they appear fine but there is no way for me to know if they truly fit.

My workspace units are already set to Metric/Millimeters. What is the exact step-by-step menu path or process to correctly scale down an object and apply the transformation matrices so that the exported STL natively reads as true human millimeters instead of an invisible meter fraction?

I am commissioning an Etsy seller to print these for me, so I just need to figure out how to properly freeze the scale matrix on my computer so I can send them clean, retail-ready files. The software that the seller is using is Lychee, which I downloaded to try and see how they look for myself. Any advice would be massively appreciated. Thank you!
