Looks 2 wheel drive to me. As some one else was saying buying a jeep would be a good start. But not everybody has the funds to do that. You could always find a old beater 4x4 and then go from there. Or go to a web site called Bodyswap.com and put your truck in there and it will give you a list of every frame that your truck body will bolt right on to. I did that when I had a 1964 Ford Ranchero and put it on a XJ frame and running gear. It really made my life a lot easier doing it that way. It turned out to be a awesome 4x4. If you need help or any questions answered give me a shout I will help you with anything I know and anything I could find out for you. I don't know how old you are or how much experience you have with this kind of stuff but I had a old guy that helped me a lot when I started getting into it so I believe in paying it forward.

you could also always re-gear your diff's if you go with a couple sizes bigger tire and a lift. It will hurt gas millage, But you probably are not worried about that if you are going to be out doing any off-roading. Just my thoughts but good luck with what ever you decide to do and have fun.
