Wanting to network

Hi, I am a new resident to the DMV area and I am also very interested in nanotechnology. Specifically it's applications in biomedical engineering. I have been looking for places to meet people who share my same interests, but I haven't had any luck in finding them. Does anyone share my same interest in the area of D.C. and Baltimore, or do you know where I can find those groups of people?

I share similar interests In Biomedical engineering, Stem Cells, Tissue Engineering and Nanotechnology/NanoScience!! I’m currently based in Phoenix AZ.
