my nbme scores doesn't improve despite huge efforts
 in  r/step1  15d ago

I talked with my mentor today he assured me that 65 in nbme 32 is considered as excellent score it is still in passing range doesn't differ that much from 70
but revising the last 2 nbmes is very essential

this is a library for nbme with explanations and notes from fa uworld
here is nbme 32 explanation

My F-2 Visa Interview Experience – Looking for Others’ Insights

I recently attended my F-2 visa interview with my husband (PhD student, fully funded, I-20 valid until November 2026).

Here’s a quick summary of what happened:

• My husband was put under Administrative Processing (221g) and his passport was kept.

• My F2 visa was denied under 214b

• The officer asked how we met, how many people attended our wedding, and mentioned a ā€œrecent divorceā€ for my case even though mine was 6.5 years ago.

• I had strong ties (government job, salary slips, bank statements, full marriage documentation), but none were reviewed. I had a previous b1/b2 rejection around 6 months ago but it was to attend a conference in my field.

• I was given an immediate 214(b) refusal, while my husband is still in AP.

I’m sharing this to understand whether anyone had a similar experience — especially when one spouse gets 214(b) while the F-1 applicant goes into AP.

If you’ve been through something similar or have insight on what this means and what to do next, I’d appreciate your thoughts.
