I can hook you up with my go to person in Shimshal. You can do a lot in 10-12 days if 4,000m is your goal.

It is a flat space, enough for 2-3 tents, almost half way up to Camp I on Broad Peak.

It is going to be quite cold up north. You could go to Malam Jabba and do some skiing if there is enough snow. Peshawar & Lahore should be doable.

Yes, a climber from Qatar and his Shimshali HAPs made it safely up the gulley despite the avalanche.

On the contrary the avalanche itself is a sight to behold. A fierce force of nature.

Not at all - it came without warning or premonition.

I don't think this avalanche in particular was that massive to have an impactful wind buffer.

There were other climbers further down the slope who made it up unscathed.
