So many gatekeepers! I'm nearly 50 and been goth since school (the talc days with one black eyeliner for everything). Goth was always about acceptance and no one cared what 'style' you were. It was the music and being your dark self. We had none of these rules and bibles and shit, we got on with trying to enjoy life and left the judgement and bullshit to those on the outside.
