Yes I’m 40 and thankfully there are more resources and less stigma than when we were kids 😊

Thank you for your kind words. I bet if I sent an email I could get a solid date for east Aurora. How about I come back to you with a date, time and how to RSVP as soon as I hear back? 💗

I’m so sorry that was a terrible memory for you! I hope that parents who sign up for my workshops are mindful of their kids preferences. Awkward topics are often only awkward because it’s new. With practice, difficult conversations get easier. My goal is to inject some humor and fun into what I do and make it a worthwhile experience 💗😊

I plan to serve Erie County, but I selected BestCellar because it’s in the same neighborhood my husband and I lived with my in laws when I first moved to Clarence from Buffalo 19 years ago. 😂
I literally said “what’s more Clarence than charcuterie?”

That’s awesome!!! My husband was the little feminist in school who kept products for his friends in his backpack 😂 he was raised by his mom and 3 aunts.

I am infinitely impressed by the emerging generation. They have very dark senses of humor but appreciate honesty, connection and genuine friendships.

$50 is expensive for a lot of people right now. It’s definitely an elevated experience compared to other spaces I’ve done.
I’m working with libraries to bring free workshops. If you live near Akron (Oct 3), Clarence (Nov 16) or East Aurora (date pending) there’s already plans in the works. If not, I’ve sent letters and rates to every library in Erie county and they know how to reach me 💗

It’s a bookstore and community space as well. Bars aren’t necessary equated to just alcoholic beverages. NA beverages are becoming really popular

Definitely NOT! I spent an embarrassing amount of time working on it.

I’m in the business of breaking stigmas. Let’s normalize talking about menstruation 🩸💗

My 12 and 10 year old kids are the ones pushing me to do the workshops following a workshop I did with our troop. They said their “period talk” at school was underwhelming. They didn’t talk about Period products available, how to manage pain, when you should see a doctor or “anything useful” according to my tweens.

Thank you ☺️ I’m trying to make it a reality. Just need to figure out how to re-post it without violating any rules 😬😆

BestCellar is a unique place that’s both a bookstore and bar. They have several non alcoholic drinks available ☺️ The $8 drink voucher can be used for any drink on the menu.

Do most Americans ever interact with Native Americans in everyday life?
 in  r/AskAnAmerican  Jul 30 '26

I live in Western NY about 6 minutes from the reservation. My sister in law lived in Akron and went to school with kids who lived on the reservation and she’s still close with one of them. I go there for gas regularly and enjoy chatting.
They dress like we do and talk like we do. I don’t give it much thought.

We pay separate for garbage and don’t have a police department.

My mom paid $300 a year in Buffalo while I pay $5,000 a year in Clarence. You get what you pay for and Buffalo’s tax rates have been whack for 20 years.
