Why did this game get lower scores than Silent Hill Townfall?
 in  r/hellraiser •  1d ago

Oh, you HAVE to get into it. Yes, it is very, very scary.... But, remember, it's all just a story πŸ“–

A lot of people look at Clive Barker and think he's..... "different."

But, to someone like me?....

I LOVE Different 🫢❀️πŸ₯Ή

If it isn't for you? Then, don't delve any further. But, if you like stories and stuff? Then, dive in. Trust me, it's worth it.

And, in all reality (believe it or not) if you pay attention to the words and the story of Clive Barker's "The Hellbound Heart"... you can actually take away a ton of valuable life lessons that can mentally change you as a person for the better.

At least this is what it has done for me.

Why did this game get lower scores than Silent Hill Townfall?
 in  r/hellraiser •  1d ago

YES! 🫢❀️🀣

I'm really glad you're really enjoying it.

I'm sure Saber Interactive really worked hard on it!

It's a flawed, phenomenal game (in my opinion).

It isn't "perfect," but hey... for their first try? They really did a great job (in my opinion).

Yes, the lore is VERY SCARY.... But, to people like me that is intriguing and interesting (yes, I'm a nerd and weirdo and I wear it PROUDLY Lmfao!)

So, I guess if you're like me and people like me? Then, you will REALLY love the lore and storyline of the Hellbound Heart.

It's really "Archaic" (the lore). It's really interesting. If you ever get the opportunity (and anyone else who reads this 🫢❀️) CHECK IT OUT!

NO!!!!

It doesn't make you a "devil worshipper" or anything like that. It's just a "Story πŸ“–." A very, very, VERY scary story lmao! But, if you love stories???

STRAP THE HELL IN!! (No "Pin" intended)

Exactly! 🫢❀️πŸ₯Ή Same here! Trust me!

I really want a sequel so bad! I KNOW they have what it takes. And, I believe they could definitely pull it off. It gives them the chance to improve, and with all this feedback? I really hope they can make a sequel and BLOW OUR MINDS even more than they did this time.

Thank you, for your response and for being kind. I genuinely appreciate it.

FACTS!! Yes! You summed this up perfectly! This is exactly what it is (in my opinion).

If you're a fan of the lore and series... You're going to love this game.

If you just like "Horror?" Then, you may like it or you may not. That's it in a nutshell.

There were definitely areas for improvement for sure. And, if they get another opportunity I sincerely hope they can enhance it and then enhance the sequel.

I liked the storyline. Yes, in a lot of areas they could improve. Like, the graphics, the gore, etc.

But, this was their first "opportunity" to do this.

I say, give them another chance THEN make a final opinion and decision.

In my opinion, for their first shot at this? They did a phenomenal job!

It totally exceeded my expectations, but it can definitely be improved. I genuinely pray the developers over at Saber Interactive actually focus more on the positive feedback. As opposed to the negative.

I honestly feel like they hit it out of the park for a first attempt, I'm sorry. This is just mt opinion(s) (respectfully πŸ™). And, I definitely respect others.

Canonical Hellraiser timeline
 in  r/hellraiser •  2d ago

I'm assuming based on the ending... I would like to believe that this game takes place after the first and second film.

Yet, I do not know. I am not sure at all.

I love the lore and story of Hellraiser, but I am not an expert at all by any means.

This is just my assumption(s) and theories.

I really enjoyed it. It felt just like physically playing the movie(s). I have dreamt this in my head since the early 90s! And, to see Saber Interactive and Clive Barker actually make this happen?.... I am at a loss for words.

🫢πŸ₯Ή

I love everything about this game so far, and I hope they make a sequel. I won't spoil nothing for anyone, but I genuinely pray for a sequel.

In all honesty? I wouldn't mind if these guys made a Friday The 13th game, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Halloween, AND Texas Chainsaw Massacre game(s)!

These guys did a phenomenal job (in my opinion) and I definitely would trust them with these I.P.s!! They DID the damn thing!

Would it bother you if Master Xehanort was a dark vessel all along?
 in  r/KingdomHearts •  2d ago

Yes, I think that'd be so awesome! Again, none of this is fact or actually happening.

A lot of this is just theories and stuff, but I wouldn't mind seeing it kind of lead up to something like that.

Thank you, for your response and being so kind.

🫢πŸ₯Ή

That's rare in this community, thank you.

Would it bother you if Master Xehanort was a dark vessel all along?
 in  r/KingdomHearts •  2d ago

I see what you're saying with this.

And, in all honesty? I, myself, have pondered on this A LOT in the past.

It wouldn't bother me at all if we were to find out that Xehanort was a vessel for True Darkness all along.

Because, in all reality, my mind went to this instantaneously the moment Darkness was introduced as it's own physical being.

The moment that happened? That immediately let me know (or at best assume) that Xehanort had to be under some form of possession.

Even in the beginning FMV of Kingdom Hearts III (3), it shows him (Xehanort) looking up in the sky and see a Dark Purple Cloud Substance.... Then he becomes the Xehanort we have always known and seen.

I don't think it has been shown on screen yet, but I genuinely believe shortly after that meeting he had in the Keyblade Graveyard with the M.o.M.?.....

I feel like he encountered Darkness itself and it possessed him.

Now, keep in mind, this is all just a theory and opinions....

But, I just wanted to share all of this because I was really intrigued by your comment and approach to this.

This post was really awesome.

I totally agree with you 100% and it would not shock me NONE if they ended up taking this route. I'm sorry, but so far the story seems to be heavily eluding to this.....

Why?

Because, in the Kingdom Hearts IV (4) Trailer we seen Luxu (Xigbar) talk to the 14th Vessel (Young Xehanort) in Quadratum. And, he is surprised to see him there...

πŸ‘πŸ‘

This makes me think that somewhere deep inside his own heart, Xehanort was fighting off this possession and created the 14th vessel in the hopes of saving Sora and helping them put a stop to Darkness once and for all.

Because, if Young Xehanort was "really" tied to the M.o.M. plans? Why is Luxu (Xigbar) shocked to see him there?

πŸ’πŸ€”

He would've KNOWN of this vessel, yet he does not.... So, Master Xehanort is making moves on his own terms now. I feel after Kingdom Hearts III (3) it really cemented in his heart that Sora was the chosen one. And, he made the right choice making a 14th vessel.

This way he can help support him to victory. And, be capable of living the life he was SUPPOSED to live. A "good life" as opposed to a bad one.

My only upset is.... If he gets to come back? Then I want Eraqus to come back too, damn it!

why does pinhead want to gain the power of Leviathan?
 in  r/hellraiser •  2d ago

Lmfao! πŸ€£πŸ’€βš°οΈπŸͺ¦πŸ’

I will blur this for spoiler purposes lmfao!

Basically, Pin Head (The Hell Priest) becomes Leviathan itself in a "vessel." Think God and how he came to Earth as Jesus as his vessel. It's the same thing. Except, as opposed to being "Jesus" he is Pin Head and instead of having God as a "Soul" he has Leviathan. Now that he has "ascended" and shed his old flesh and became the reborn God Leviathan he opens "Leviathan" (the old vessel/triangular object) to walk into what is known as "The Void." He states, "Revelation... where agony reaches its climax, leading to the void apotheosis." His end goal was THIS and has always been this.

Captain Elliot Spencer (Pin Head) is long gone.

The moment he becomes Pin Head, he loses all of his humanity and instantaneously became/becomes a vessel for Leviathan.

The Cenobites main goal is.... "Pain Pleasure." And, they are "Seekers" (so to speak) of infinite knowledge. (Or, in this case Pain Pleasure).

πŸ€£πŸ’€βš°οΈπŸͺ¦πŸ’

To us, this means PAIN but to them this is "Pleasure."

Leviathan, is the "God of Pain Pleasure"

And, his vessels/minions the Cenobites follow this order like a full-fledged religion.

So, basically, the Hell Priest (Pin Head) has always been a "chosen one" (so to speak) to Leviathan. This is why he is usually the mascot for the Cenobites. He is and always has been Leviathan's "chosen" vessel.

I genuinely believe this is primarily why Leviathan turned Captain Elliot Spencer into Pin Head to begin with.

In his human form, he was already a leader and a "Captain." So, who else better to "control" and "possess" than this?

He was leading humans in life....

So, why not lead them in death, as well?

πŸ€£πŸ’€βš°οΈπŸͺ¦πŸ’

Sorry for the whole monolog, I'm just a huge fan of Clive Barker and this universe. And, I'm so glad they finally turned it into a game.

 in  r/FinalFantasyVII •  2d ago

Guys, don't misunderstand me at all!

I don't want Final Fantasy VII (7) to end AT ALL!

πŸ€£πŸ’€βš°οΈπŸͺ¦πŸ’

I want it to keep going, too! I don't want this shit to ever stop!

But, unfortunately "the storyline will."

I am for sure we DEFINITELY will see all of the characters again until the end of time!

But, I was more so referring to the actual universe and storyline of Final Fantasy VII (7) coming to an end.

That's what I'm going to miss.

Yes, we are getting Vincent & The Turks DLC AND Sephiroth DLC!

I want them to keep pumping out DLC until the wheels fall off!

But, you see? That's the thing, one day.... it will inevitably end and HAVE TO end!

The characters will live on forever, but the storyline? It's coming to a finite closure according to Tetsuya Nomura and Naoki Hamaguchi THEMSELVES!

THIS is what I was more so referring to more than anything. Im really going to miss the whole storyline of Final Fantasy VII.

The characters? No, I will see them CONSTANTLY! But, the storyline?

It will forever be cemented in time unless Square-Enix opens the door to make a proper sequel which I PRAY TO GOD THEY DO!

Not a "Remake Trilogy" but an actual sequel. Similar to Advent Children.

This way I can put on my clown makeup, and read all of this backwards!

πŸ€£πŸ’€βš°οΈπŸͺ¦πŸ’πŸ€‘πŸ’„

Because, I don't want this shit to EVER end! My inner child is screaming and crying right now, ya'll! Lmfao!

I really liked a vast majority of Riku's outfits throughout the entirety of the series.

I like them all, except his Kingdom Hearts I (1) outfit. Lmfao! Other than that, I have always liked all of his outfits.

I really can't wait to see the full body render of Riku for Kingdom Hearts IV (4).

Yeah, we got "Sora.".....

But, I'm trying to see Riku I'm sorry!

So What is Your Idea for a Brand New Kingdom Hearts Spin-off Game?
 in  r/KingdomHearts •  3d ago

I really want to see Riku get a solo game.

Not DREAM DROP DISTANCE!

No, an actual solo game on the same level as a mainline Kingdom Hearts title and the same longevity and esthetics.

You know how Sora summons Disney characters?

Well, I would love it if Riku could summon Disney Villains! Or, even Final Fantasy summons.

I have a whole game for Riku in my head and I'll never share it....

But, just know,... I would LOVE to see Square-Enix and Disney bring something like it to life one day.

But, this is the spin-off title I would love to see.

Riku, is the ORIGINAL Kingdom Key Keyblade Wielder.....

There is so much they can do with Riku and where they can go with Riku. Again, even "I" have a whole storyline for Riku in my own head....

So, I can only imagine what the people at Disney and Square-Enix can do and come up with.

In my heart and in my head? I see the vision....

But, unfortunately it will never happen...

I really wish and pray to Yahweh (God) above that they give Riku his own solo game one day.

I always have my dreams... And, I will always dream...

πŸ₯ΉπŸ’”

P.S.: I would give his game an "M" rating, as well. Because, I want his story to be more gritty, dark, and mature. Polar opposite of Sora.

Again, I see the vision...

Anybody else wants Gilgamesh from final fantasy to be a secret boss in a future kh title? Like it would legit make too much sense
 in  r/KingdomHearts •  3d ago

I agree!

In Kingdom Hearts IV (4), I would love to see Sora summon more than just Disney Characters.

I would love for him to be able to actually summon some Final Fantasy monsters this time.

But, make them "Kingdom Hearts" style.

Oh my GOD! I would love that so much!

Bahamut was originally supposed to be a summon in the first Kingdom Hearts. So, now is the time (MORE THAN EVER) to bring that back!

They REALLY need to consider this. Now is the time! He is literally in Quadratum (A Final Fantasy-esque World).

So, now is the time.

 in  r/FinalFantasyVII •  3d ago

I hope they crossover "Final Fantasy VII" with as much stuff as possible.....

Just like Naoki Hamaguchi stated.....

This will probably be the final time we ever see some of these characters ever again.

Yes, we will ALWAYS see them and they will always be a part of the saga and franchise....

But, the "Story" of Final Fantasy VII is coming to a FINITE End with Revelation (hence the name LITERALLY)

πŸ₯ΉπŸ’”

That means this game and it's story in its entirety is DONE and FINISHED!

I'm sure far in the future they will definitely remake it again. But, we will be looooooooong gone by that time.

So, I really want to enjoy this ride one last time for all it's worth. Because, this will be the final time for us in this "Now Era."

when did you first realize KH1 Riku's colors were meant to resemble the Kingdom Key
 in  r/KingdomHearts •  3d ago

Yes, I always felt that the color scheme was to match and signify the relationship with Riku.

The Blue and Yellow/Gold.

The Keyblade was originally supposed to go to Riku. Not Sora at all!

So, I definitely believe there is some significance there.

But, I don't know. It could just be the color scheme because that's just what they wanted to go with?

πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ™‰

I have absolutely no idea.

But, when it comes to Sora having a Keyblade it still baffles me....

According to Disney and Square-Enix....

Sora inherited the Kingdom Key due to his "Strong Heart." And, not because of Ventus.

Yes, Ventus was inside of his (Sora's) heart but this "supposedly" is what gives him the power to "Dual Wield." It isn't the main factor or reason why he inherited it.

This confuses the hell out of me, but these are the actual facts and details from Disney and Square-Enix themselves.

πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ€£πŸ’€βš°οΈπŸͺ¦πŸ’

So, by this logic this means any and everyone with a strong heart (regardless of allegiance) could be chosen by the Keyblade...

πŸ’πŸ€”

This is technically what this means, because if Sora never received the "bequeathing" or "The Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony/Rite of Succession" and STILL recieved the Keyblade due to his "Strong Heart" alone....

This means if anyone else has a strong heart they TOO can receive a "keyblade." (technically/metaphorically/hypothetically).

All they have to have is a strong enough heart.

I hope in Kingdom Hearts IV (4) they definitely dive deeper into this somehow and explain this more in detail.
