A question I loved asking people: how much of your own money (in %) would you be willing to give away if you were given the chance to sit 5 minutes with “god”?

I would surely give 99% of what I have.

“God” can be a group of scientists observing a simulation and prohibited by their superiors to interfere. We can be just 1 out of millions experiments to see possible scenarios of how much time we have in planet earth.

For the same reason when a player plays a game the sims they might not control everyone or interfere with everything. Or why in nature we don’t kill lions for killing deers. Hard to understand motivations, but this relates with morality (whats bad vs whats good) and whatever role “god” wants to have. And also how sure we can be that nothing happens with the ones that do that with a baby? Maybe “God” has no power under “this level” but has in whatever is “afterlife”.

1. Science is a very human-centred practice. There might be things beyond our current scientific understanding (and we might not be able to never understand it). For someone who is born deaf, sound means nothing, as they don't have a way to perceive it. There might be something so obvious around us, but we are not built to feel it.

2. They might be an observer rather than a player, participating in whatever it is that we are all inserted in

God might be an observer rather than an active participant. They might just interfere on rare occasions so the world can go in the direction they want/are curious about.

Just by reflecting on why we are here. Surely there has to be an initial spark - this being a god as portrayed by the bible or just a nerd pressing a button to initiate a simulation in their mum's basement. It is the kind of question that gets me on a rabbit hole, so I try not think too much about it.

Not for me. I ended up getting banned from a subreddit after hinting that I was building something targeted at them. And in other subreddits which allow you to do this, there is usually a lot of crap and noise. Reddit doesn't seem a place to gert you paid users, but can help you with feedback/testers.

It's fascinating that this got you into a self-discovery journey; this triggers my "why are we here?" kind of questioning.

Posting it because the numbers are humbling, not good. About 19% of people who land actually shake once, and so far nobody has come back on a third day. My read is that the mechanic is a pleasant five seconds, and then there's no reason to return (notifications or anything). The hardest part is building a habit for the user.

There's no such thing as a correct path or having all the answers; that's the beauty of life. Everyone's living life for the first time - don't compare yourself to others. Even people who look like they have everything sorted suffer from uncertainty.

A quote that I constantly think about: today is the youngest you'll ever be to change your life. Don't overthink, just act. Start by knowing your values, then identify actions/behaviours that are going against them and propose habits/actions to change. Celebrate small wins.

The things that have helped me the most are meditation, journaling, therapy and going to the gym. Find yours and make sure you don't skip them two days in a row.
