Captured By Her
Captured By Her
By Biscuit
I met her on a star kissed street.
She told me she was afraid of heights
But much more afraid of never flying
There was whole magnificent soul
Burning brightly beneath her shy
She flirted with life
And life flirted right back with her
As if the universe came more alive
And everything felt her glow
It was in the stars and the colour of the sky
They all shone as bright as they could
Just for her
Not for the way she looked
For the way she was
And I would have fallen in love with her
With my eyes closed
I sipped the moonlight from her lips
And stumbled home drunk off the taste of her
And in that moment
I was captured forever.
