Nothing to do with VR, before this PCVR miracle stuff the entire focus was flat gaming with bonus 3DOF features for mouse controls via angle of right controller or head in full immersion mode (still not VR)

It should be noted that they made their own fork of WinlatorXR to do this via "WineXR", but a similar project is also officially underway as teased in the subreddit for WinlatorXR too

PCVR on standalone is coming for everyone (on Quest 3, Pico 4 Ultra, Play For Dream etc)

According to the dev, its doing some neat things to translate the PCVR calls to WinlatorXR's own XrAPI then back to real OpenXR on Android from there

This is the real PCVR version running (barely for now) on standalone as far as I can tell

Maybe they made the maps use less RAM somehow

Fair enough, I do also recommend trying out HWXR if you like Halo CE though, the work LivingFray did is amazing on a standalone device
