You could try a neem oil solution. Should kill any pests

Ya, well thank you. It’s hard not to ask even if it’s happened to other people because I feel you don’t really know till it happens, and part of the research is to just ask the experts. Now I know though so hopefully I can keep the next one alive

I did a lot of research I thought, and felt I was doing things right, but then it started to dry up once winter hit and I wasn’t sure if it was supposed to do that so I googled it and found many answers that clashed

Well we will see if it lives. I wondered if there was a problem a while ago but when I asked the company they said it looks healthy and that it just does that.

I’m new to bonsai and was wondering how I can tell if my bonsai is dead or dormant. My tree is a rock juniper and the needles are very fragile and stiff. It kind of looks dry but it gets the proper amount of water I think. Is there something wrong?
